make him sit down
and then attach the other cuff to his ankle
or you could use 2 cuffs and a short chain link
wrap his arm around his waist attach cuffs to the end of each chain link
cuff his wrist
go around with the chain link wrapped across his waist and cuff the same hand so his arm is now tight against his body

Hey that's enough. That is already considered as a torture or Police brutality. Can't you see the man, he is single handed which means he does not have the capability to fight a person with both hands. I guess simply holding his single hand and locking behind his back would already be enough. There's no need for handcuff.

a one handed man who is not secured by the authorities can still pose a danger
even if he does not know how to fight he will still hvae the ability to punch or kick
handcuffs will help secure him

If the person has belt loops you handcuff the one arm, and then a belt loop. If they're wearing a belt you handcuff them to the belt. Basically you just find something on them to handcuff their one arm to.

there are a lot of ways, if you are talking about practical ways to handcuff or contained a criminal that is dangerous or a treat to everybody. but i you are just asking a trick question or logic, then i think you cannot because the term handcuff is traditionally defined as having your two hands tied or cuff by a metal or something similar to the one used by policemen, you can also cuff your other hand to his and so on.

this question of yours could be tricky or just for fun..
But let me answer your question..
well maybe he/she has two arms..and both can be use to hurt somebody..
The handcuffed is called handcuffed not because it is put in our hand but because our hand serve as lock to make it functional or for us not to use our hand in holding things that could hurt....in your case,we could put it in any part which you think is possible that he/she may not able to escape or hurt somebody..

that is a interesting question.are you a police?why did you want to handcuff a person only with one hand .what a pity the criminal is.i think you can handcuff his the only hand and his ankle together,of course ,the criminal should sit down, that is not a kind of good feeling to him.

The answer is not possible because you are trying to handcuff just a single arm. You need at least two both arms to handcuff them together. It really doesn't need to become a rocket scientist to know the answer. It's completely about logic so if you wish to handcuff a single handed man then lock his one arm then lock the other handcuff lock into yours.
