Tonight Sherlock got in trouble. I turned to him, and before I could say anything he gave me that "who me?" look with his big brown eyes. He got low to the ground and pulled his ears close to his head. But I've included a picture of Sherlock in one of his cuter moments a few weeks ago. I'd love for you to take a look. Meanwhile, what is the cutest OR most ornery thing your pet has done lately?

Hey Amber! Sherlock is adorable! He really looks so sweet and
innocent! What could he have done that was so bad? Star and
Luna are always getting into trouble! Star is always walking
on my kitchen counters and if the bf sees he flips out! Star
also scratches on my mattress and doesn't listen to the word
"no" and neither does Luna! Luna is always starting fights
with Star! I love them both, but they can be bad little boys
sometimes too! But, I couldn't live without either one of them!

Since I don't have a pet right now...I'll have to use my son's for an example. He just got a Great Dane....she is a lovely well tempered dog...but when she spies me she knows I'll rub her ears....so she leans up against me....and she weighs more then me! If I sit down she lays her head in my lap and won't quit until I rub her ears...and that to me is very irritating....she just won't leave me alone! LOL

Just the other day Rusty was chewing on his foot like he does with some of his chew toys. Then he realized he wanted to go somewhere else and he tried to pick up his paw and carry it away with him. We laughed so hard at him! He actually did it twice and I still don't think he realizes that it's attached to him.

I think i live with Larry, Moe and Curly here. The three stooges. They are the Kat family. Miss Kitty Kat, Missy Sissy Kat and Bubba Kat. They are all always getting into trouble practally ona daily basis. Miss Kitty seems to think my purpose for going to bed is to rub her belly. She will get under the covers and hold her hind leg up forming a tent for the occisain. If i try to ignor her she reachs out from the covers and touchs my face. Sometimes a finger will go into my nostrol. Bubba likes to crawl under the covers of my bed after its made. I always see the hump of the tunnel thats there when hes done with it.
Oh did you say trouble??? No its no trouble. They seem to think everything is ok. They think they can do anything they want to. At least they dont try to hide it when they are walking along the clothes they are hanging in the closet. Or making a bed out of my freshly washed and folded clothes that are piled up to be put away. Or if they come where im eating and try to sample my(or our) food. Bubba doesnt even see anything wrong with getting up on the desk in front of my face and getting the tape out of the drawer or licking my(or his now) sugar cane candy. Kitty sees nothing wrong with taking the lid off the automatic feeder so she can eat from the top. Sissy or Kitty see nothing wrong with shredding the toilet paper.
There is one thing they do pay attention to though. Its the spray bottle of "cat repleant" ingredient: water. Sometimes all i have to do is imatate the sound of squirting water. Works better than stop it, stop that or no. Soon as the see me pick that up they run and hide. Like they suddenly realize they are doing wrong.

Often i make smoothie for breakfast. Bubba likes to sample it. One morning i made it with coffee as the liquid. Bubba sampled it a few minutes later he was zipping around the room like he had lost his mind. This lasted for several minutes before he settled down. I got to make sure he gets no caffene from now on.

You have a very cute dog and I like that photo he looks so peaceful hard to believe imaginig him doing the things you said he does lol just like any kid. My dog likes to steal certain chairs you get up for any reason he jumps right away and does not give them up peacefully either you have to pick him him up and put him down he knows when he is in trouble he rolls over and show his tummy lol I lve that he will bark for attention and in the rare ocassion when that does not work he whimpers well he is my dog so I am crazy about him

My Shelties are just plain cute, but my boy, Sundance, has a habit of "herding" me when I'm watering the yard. Shelties jump at your butt to get you to go the way they want you to go. So he's always pouncing at my butt. I try and get angry but I can't. He's just doing what comes natural.

I guess my bu** is just too irresistable when I'm bent over pulling weeds. He's almost knocked me on my head a couple of times. Speaking of which...I need to get outside and pull weeds and water before it gets too hot. Our third day of 100+ degree weather...

I want to see the pic. My dog hate to be blow. My brother likes to make her irritated because when she is irrirated she can speak our language, the foul words of our language that she learned from my father . When my brother blow her in the face you will be hearing the irritated sound followed by the language "namo!" after. and when we hear it we started laughing. Other cute things my dog Tutay(female dog) do was covering body with blanket. She use pillow and blanket while sleeping, she even have a stuffed toys.

I don't know if this is the cutest or most ornery thing..BUT
Well ever since my Pyewacket went to Rainbow Bridge, my other kitty Kissy is literally basking in the limelight. Pyewacket WAS a terrible bully to her. If I talked to her, no matter where he was he'd come running right over and push her away and get my attention....Well now Kissy is number one kitty in the apt....she's more cuddly, more vocal, keeps me company more while I'm sleeping and snuggles up to me in Pyewacket's former spot...right along side of me as opposed to before where her "place" was at the foot of the bed...he NEVER allowed her closer. She also loves to hop in my lap while I'm in front of the computer..she NEVER did that before.
Well not long ago, Kissy found another way to get my attention. I was in front of the computer when suddenly.........NOTHING........HORRORS...my computer was out!!!! I panicked like, oh no, what now??? I then looked under my desk and saw the DSL modem lights all off and I'm huh? Then I thought to lookd behind the VERY small area where I have my power strip. Pyewacket used to manage to go behind there but never Kissy since she's uh, let's say chunky?? well my darling Kissy must have somehow gotten back in there and turned the switch off of my power cord where everything is hooked up..took forever to get things up and running again. Nope wasn't mad though, could have been but wasn't. But I guess it was her way of saying "Hey mom...get off that computer already and pay attention to me now."

Well Ciara is very ornery because when I push her away trying to teach her not to jump up on me, she will get down, and then run behind me and jumps on my back, preventing me from pushing her down..
Penny, she is the one that when I say it is time to go into the kennel, either for bed or because we are leaving, she will pull her ears back and lie down like she's in trouble..
There is other things, but that is what comes to mind right now..

Yes Opal, Penny is the high strung one..I call her my alarm system because she barks at every little sound and Ciara is my enforcer, because though Penny is the first to bark, she is also the first to run away when confronted.. Ciara will continue walking to the confrontation.. They definitely make a pair...

That is so funny what your little guy did. I love the name Sherlock for a pet - too cute! My dog Timmy mad my husband and me kind of upset the other day. A couple days ago, we were in the bedroom talking. Meanwhile, the dog had a mind of his own and found the donuts in our TV room. Usually he's in whatever room we're in because he's either really curious or just wants to be part of the family. Pets are just like that! It took a couple minutes, but I noticed and told my hubby...where is the dog? Yep, you guessed it. He'd gobbled almost a dozen medium-size donuts, which was the remaining contents of the box - he licked it clean, of course. I was pretty upset since we'd just gotten them at the grocery store the day before, and now they were gone. I knew as soon as we called the dog in the bedroom he'd found something to sneak since he was licking his lips. I checked in the other room, and sure enough he'd done it. The annoying part was that the night of his "feast," he was sick on the non-dog food he'd eaten. Lovely. I didn't feel all that bad for him when I could tell he wasn't feeling well because he asked for it by eating what he shouldn't have! Ok so maybe I felt a tiny bit bad, but still...that's was a definite "I told you so!" moment. (LOL)

oh AmbiePam I dont have a pet here at Gold Crest bu t the little dog Andy saw me sitting on a sofa, and ran over, jumped up beside me, let me pet him and ooh and aah over him. in fact he refused to come to the friend who was walking Andy for his owner. the odd thing is that I and the woman who owns Andy look a lot alike, both very fair with gray hair and both of us are plump and about the same age. but Andy always says hello to me, so cute.

My oldest gal, Penny, wants to make sure we notice her the second our eyes open in the morning so, when we begin to stir (at least when my husband does; not sure if she does this to me since I'm not quite awake yet when she does this) she'll get right in front of your face and just stare. I'm talking about an inch away from your face. She sits there, very still and quiet, an inch away from our faces and stares.
Of course, I don't notice this as much when it's me she's doing this to but I've seen her do this when I'm awake and my husband is just beginning to wake up. It's hysterical to watch. She sits there like a vulture, an inch away from his face, staring intently and waiting for his eyes to open. The moment they do, her tail begins to wag and she wiggles all over the place, usually with a well-placed lick right across his face.
What a way to wake up, huh? One of these days, I'll remember to have the camera nearby so I can get a photo of her doing this.
Sherlock looks like such a sweetheart! Of course, having small dogs myself, I know the mischief they can get into. I LOVE the looks they can give. It's eerie sometimes, the way they can look so human!

Oh! I just remembered something that happened between two cats I used to have, Tigger and Spider. Tigger was the sweetheart, Spider was just plain strange.
I was once rocking my son in the living room. (He was a baby at the time, lol) Tigger walked up to me and sat down in front of me, just kinda chilling. Spider came up behind Tigger, ever so quietly. He sad down, about six inches behind Tigger, slightly to the side and stared at Tigger for a minute or so.
Ever so slowly, Spider raised up a paw. I'm talking SLOWLY! No other movement was noted, just that paw, as he continued to stare at Tigger. He did this so slowly that I could barely detect movement at all.
Anyway, all of a sudden, he bopped Tigger right on top of his head. BOP!!! Tigger ran halfway across the room, turned and chewed Spider out in that cat talk they have, then ran the rest of the way out of the room. Spider just sat there looking kind of pleased with himself.
Another time, when I had a rabbit (Buns) and Tigger, the rabbit used to love to jump up on the sofa and stretch out beside me when I was watching TV. He did this once, loving me petting him as I watched TV. Tigger walked into the room and was about to jump up on the sofa with me when he saw Buns already up there. He stopped, looked from the rabbit to me, to the rabbit and back to me again then proceeded to chew me out! Mrow-OW-ow-ow! Then, he just walked off in a huff. I laughed until I almost wet myself! I had never been chewed out by a cat before.

The cutest it that last night he open our gate and made he and he
s mom go outside. I spunk him for what he did, bern (my dog) is asking for my forgiveness by getting very close to me and looking at me, he put his one arm in my lap as if he is asking for forgiveness for what he did.

I have 3 cats and a dog so, they are always doing something cute. But, today, my youngest cat was too cute. I had to run out to go get my tire fixed on my car and, I knew I would be waiting for a while at the shop. I had already pulled out of the garage, closed the garage door, gone down the street a little and then thought...shoot, I need a book to read. So, I turned around, pulled up the driveway, opened the garage door and ran into the house really quick because I had left the car running. I ran into the house and into the living room to grab my book. The food thing for my cats is between my two couches where the dog can't get it. My youngest cat, Martini, was eating when I came rushing in. I saw her standing on her hind legs like a ferret or something and she made me giggle. She stood their on her hind feet looking over the couch arm to see what I was doing because I was being so loud. LOL! She was too cute with her little curious face and standing up like that.

I'm fostering kittens. Two have already been neutered and are at the adoption center, but I still have the two smaller ones. Before the two big ones were gone, the biggest kept picking on the run, Pip. Well, Pip and his sister, Peaches, haven't been feeling well. Poor Pip would just squeal and I'd have to get his brother off of him. Anyway, around the time Pip started getting better, Peaches got it and was feeling miserable. That's when Pip turned into Mr. Perky Kitty and wanted to play with Peaches. Poor little thing wasn't at all in the mood. But would Pip remember what it felt like? Nope...

My dog, Tukay, understands a lot of what I say to her. Yesterday, it was the dreaded 'time to clip the nails' time. Every time I called her to come get them clipped, she would turn her face away from mine as soon as I started talking to her. Sort of a 'If I can't see you, you aren't talking to me'. When I changed my tactics and asked her if she wanted some pizzs...well, that's the majic word. She looked at me while I asked her, and came when I called. She got her nails clipped and a bit of pizza. Sometimes I don't know who has trained who...

Yesterday, I made a chilling discovery - my cat can open doors and drawers! First, he decided to open the bottom drawer in my dresser. I laughed thinking he was being silly. He stuck his paw on top of the drawer trying to get in between it and the dresser. No luck. Then he put his paw inside the loop handle and zoom! Open came the drawer and Smokey went inside. Evidently I had far too many clothes in it for his taste because he began pushing them out.
After he completed destruction of my careful folding, he moved to further pursuits in my office. I have a rolling, single drawer file drawer in my closet there where he loves to sit. The closet is equipped with bi-fold doors. Smokey stuck his paw in between the doors and zip! Once side folded back; kitty slept on the cabinet for a good five minutes before moving to the kitchen.
There I have an old-fashioned dry sink, with two doors on the bottom. Granted, the doors are tough to close completely, but never did I think Smokey would think to tap them several times until one bounced open!
Kiddie locks are now going on every drawer and door in the house! Who knew a cat could be so clever?

Hi AmbiePam,
Sherlock looks cute. Lol dogs can be a little sneaky at times, I took a photo of Louise a couple of days ago but have not uploaded it yet. She wasn't camera shy and she did a lot of poses lol. I captured one of her smiling and another looks like she was doing a split. She likes her pictures taken and she would gladly pose. I bet she likes the attention more.

Oh I'm proud to say that my cat Felix knows how to make his eyes beautiful if I'll tell him to. Until now he's doing it and do this for four years. He's very charming and chubby. He always wakes me up very early in the morning if he's hungry.
