what you think about GOD

People in life need to have hope and the prospect of something better, God gives us that. Whether or not there is a God or from what religious or ethnic background he/she descends doesn't really matter. The important thing is to give people hope, an ideal and a belief that there is someone watching, caring and guiding us through life, teaching us right from wrong and that when this life on Earth finishes there is a better place to transcend to. People, throughout history have always needed somehting or someone to believe in and that their lives will improve in time. God just happens to be the name given to this human desire to better things.

I do believe in God. It will be hard to make people believe in God if they dont have a personal revelation and a personal encounter with God. People wouldn't right away believe the words of other people unless they have actually met him. Because many people believe that "to see is to believe". But heaven and earth are two different places, they contradict. oNe is logic (use the sense) and one is supernatural (spirit/God) so you cannot base the presence of God through science. But it doesn't mean he is not real. Not all things unproved/proved by science is right. I personally have experienced and encountered God and so I believe, and not from mere words of people or any book. I tell you the truth, God is real. And if you want to know God, ask Him then He will reveal himself to you, not kidding (my personal experience, for I doubted his reality before)

Hi s2shankar! What a very thought provoking question you ask and also one that cannot be answered easily. I actually ask myself about God a lot as I have been on both sides of the coin as you have described. I think GOD is there. I just don't think that he is as we understand him to be. I think most times he's inside each one of us. He is part of us. I can connect to him whenever I wish to. I just don't know if he is the Christian God, the Muslim God, or any other God out there. Maybe he's everything and us being humans, we probably just have a difficulty perceiving him in his entirety. I don't really know. Still, it does not hurt to do good while you are here. I just don't agree with every bit of rule there is that religion dictates. Wow. I don't really know what else to say here. But I still feel like there is a lot more to it of course.

As a Christian I Believe in God and that He has plan for me and control my life..It is no a simple imagination or a human created word. There is one solid proof that Our God is not human imagination only or created by human it is the Bible. If you want to know about God then all are written in the Bible, God created everything even our forefathers..Godbless
