i think and i bet all of indonesian must know her, a famous and great badminton athlete, susi susanti. we are proud of her because her performance make our country well known in this world. she and her husband (alan budikusuma) get a gold medals in olympics in barcelona spain`92. and many people in the place when they get medals heard Indonesia Raya is singing. and of course we are in indonesia singing with proud of our country. now, we lost her, we lost one of the best athlete for badminton. no one can replace her performance and thats why we never beat china in woman sector (badiminton).

i do sad too that there is no such a great player could replace Susi.
maybe because the cost that we need to make a good player of badminton is lacked so there is no player could train better.
i hope someday Indonesia could have its glory again in badminton

Who does not know Susi Susanti, an Indonesian badminton legend who had won the game world, the All England and the Olympics. Susi Susanti is a contributor athletes badminton's first gold at Barcelona 1992 Olympic championship. Uniquely, Alan Budikusuma, her husband, also received the Gold Medal at the same championships, so they both called The Bride of the Olympics.

I knew her. It was greatest moment when Indonesia for the first time win the Gold medal in Olympic. It was make us proud when Indonesia Raya was singing and our national flag lead among two others national flags. Today, we don't have the next generation of Susi Susanti. She would never replaced. The next Susi perhaps, Mia Audina but she have migrated to Holland. Perhaps, Indonesian Badminton Association have think the effective way to train and find new talent player. They have responsibility for this.

Hi Adhiz82!.
Honestly I feel sad to see our badminton development. Another country seem improving their quality but us seem stuck or even we can say decrease. Our country seem never taking seriously about sport development and playing favoritism on certain sport.
Honestly I feel ghost bump every time I hear our national anthem at Olympic and we tears fall because of proud.

I was nine years old when that moment happened, but it's surely an unforgettable moment... How she cried when Indonesia Raya was played in Olympic Games. We're definitely missing her and it's always irritating me hearing the news that Indonesia, again and again, cannot win the badminton championship...
Hopefully we're going to have some prodigy of this sport in the future.

Yeah, she is the best woman badminton player here. She is the legend. But what was happened with her guys? Why we have lost her? Perhaps you mean nobody can got her achievements today as we know our woman badminton players can't get uber, gold medals in olimpics anymore. Nice posting
