Or did we start viewing sin from a blameless point of view? What was viewed as sin before is now being accepted as normal. People no longer are adulterers, they are just having an affair, they no longer "live in sin" , but "live together". Even in churches we hear what many want to hear and sin has become more acceptable as a way of living. Have the following verses of the Bible writer come true?
"There will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled, and they will turn their ears away from the truth."-2timothy 4:3,4.

sin – noun
1. transgression of divine law: the sin of Adam.
2. any act regarded as such a transgression, esp. a willful or deliberate violation of some religious or moral principle.
3. any reprehensible or regrettable action, behavior, lapse, etc.; great fault or offense: It's a sin to waste time.
Well, it's still in the dictionary.

Thank you 1hopefulman for a detailed definition of sin, but my question was if people accept that they sin? The obvious answer is NO. Or did u wanna convey something else by saying, Its a sin to waste time?

This was just a definition I found in one online dictionary. You are right, people don't view what they do in the proper light.
People want to do things that displease and hurt our loving God and refuse to appreciate the badness of what they are doing by using words that make sin appear acceptable. But it won't work. We reap what we sow. There is no escaping the consequences of sin. Sooner or later it will return to us with a vengeance.
Better to harmonize our lives with God's commandments!

I think people know they are sinning and either don't care or think they shouldn't be judged. They seem to think they can outsmart God by trying to put shame on Him. They will say things like, "A loving God would never create a bit of fire and throw His children into it just because they made bad choices," or "A God who would do such a thing is a monster." Since God has told us through His Bible how we should live, trying to put shame on Him in order to get away with the sins you know you are committing is just plain stupid.

You got it right, No1 wants to be judged, they think they are just so right in themselves and reach a level of ego.

Yes very true as what 2 Timothy 4:3-4 says and in this generation where black is turned to white as the false is the one accepted and not the truth.
If you continue reading on 2 Timothy 3:1-5 it says " But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.
God has reminded us to refrain from these things. If we know the truth and we obey it, we will be spared from the wrath of God.

No, sin has not disappeared. It is people's change of viewing sin as normal but it is still a sin in the eyes of God. Yes, the scriptures are right people will turn away from the truth just to cover his sin. Please heed the scriptures in your heart so that God will be pleased with you.

Yeah, people view sin as normal and its no big deal if they act according to their own thinking. Actually, they develop their own theories in life.

There is most definitely an erosion in our society on many levels. God is merciful, and there are some very good reasons for following the words of wisdom handed down to us through inspired writing, particularly scripture. Science can back up reasons to keep from lewd behaviors because of consequence. Most things God teaches us to stay away from are bad for us, either health wise or emotionally.
All we can do is pray intently for Mercy. His divine Mercy will show us our sin as well as the love He has for us.

I think it is Satan's wicked system of things that's gonna end and righteousness would prevail on earth eternally.
