I would prefer a train for long distances and nearby most probably go in my husband's two wheeler or bus. What about you which vehicle would you prefer and why?

hi there KMaroon. well, i do not really like private cars when traveling. I prefer public transportation when it's a long travel. my first favorite is the bus, next is the plane. i just love the thought that you are being delivered from one place to the other. i use the time usually for deep thinking. it's my chance to clear my head. i simply love the bus scene all the time. ;-)

Hi goddessjes I mostly travel in bus to go to near by places. I too love to travel distant places but we travel very rarely. Have a nice day.

I like to travel by train for really long journeys. In the day time I can look out of the window at the passing scenery. During the night time I can sleep in a comfortable compartment. Sometimes I get chatting to some of the other passengers. I prefer the train to going by bus and I am happy on a train for days or even as much as a week. Going by bus I can put up with up to one day or one night. The night on a bus is uncomfortable compared to in a bunk on a train. I don't put up with flying in a plane for longer than fourteen hours. I take a stop over when I go as far as Australia or New Zealand. Often going by plane is the most practical way to go but still by train is my favorite way to travel.

Hi maximax I too love to travel by train because its really very enjoyable because you can watch sceneries and different places through the window while travelling really its a great experience, you meet new people too who travel with us, but we travel yearly once or twice in a train because we go long distances very rarely. I have not yet travelled by train still today, so I don't have any idea about it. Thanks for this comment. Have a nice day.

I have never really traveled for a long trip by train, but I would like to try it some time I bet it would be a nice comfortable way to travel. I like traveling in our mini van with the family. I can almost lay all the way down in the front seat as it leans all the way back. I am not really fond of airplane travel for comfort but it is fast, but the thought of being on a plane for a long time is not a great one.
