The Truth is Scary

Truth can be shocking but it never hurts. It helps. We can see what needs to be corrected. I demand the truth in everything. It saves lots of time and energy when one gets it from the start.

I do agree that the truth can be scary at times. I also think that the truth can also hurt. I think that it can go both ways. It can either be scary, hurtful, or sometimes even both, depending on what the truth is.

Hi Carlynganda, I would always rather hear the truth than to hear a lie. The truth can be scary but at least it is the truth and I can find a way to deal with it but a lie...how do you deal with that? I hate hate hate being lied to or for someone to keep a truth from me. As far as I'm concerned that can be more harmful than any truth in the world. Why are you so afraid of the truth? What truth could possibly be so bad to hear that a lie or not telling you about something important would be better for you?

To be completely honest with you, the truth hurts me a lot. The truth, however, can make you a better person too. So if you lie, then that lie will create more lies, and it stacks on top of that initial lie, but if you tell the truth, then you'll be free. Have you ever heard of the quote "The truth will set you free?" I think that this is the main quote for the truth. SO, if you want your life to go very well, then speak the truth, and learn the truths in life. Have a nice day.

Truth always hurt. but you have to know the truth for you to be able to move on. I don't want to defer knowing the truth because sooner or later it will come out and sooner or later, I'll get hurt. I'd rather feel pain know by knowing what really happened than go on with a happy life until disclosure comes in to ruin my happiness.
