My car is loaded.....with too much junk! LOL.....I don't know how one accumulates so much stuff as I didn't even get to the things in my closet. I do know that it changes my thinking somewhat....I am going to really try not to spend money on foolish things in the future.....I also caught a glimpse of the Oprah show today and they had people on debt diets....some of them had already cheated! LOL... Are you amazed sometimes at how many things you have acquired? I have 8 boxes full of snowmen I am selling...and that's not even all of them. What to you have in your closet you would like to get rid of?

So much accumulates in my closet. I would't be surprised to find another fsmily living there. I am sure I have enough clutter in my closet to have a few rummage sales of my own.

HaHa, I remember you talking about those snowmen last year! Oh Jill, I have sooooo much stuff you couldn't imagine in this tiny apartment. I have totes full of items to sell, and most are too heavy to be put on Ebay. I have tons of craft supplies, vases, wall hangings, pictures, collectibles, christmas stuff, etc., etc., etc. I'm hoping this year one of my daughters will decide to do a garage sale so I can unload some of this stuff. It just collected over the years but is too good to throw out and I'd love to sell it off finally. Wishing you good luck with your rummage sale!!!!

HaHaaaaa, ya think? Oh yes I have said that and now I'm stuck, haha! Quite a bit of it is from when I had my craft booths and could put stuff there to sell. I sold antiques there too. Now since I'm still out of work, I can't afford the booths to start getting rid of it. But usually, whatever I buy, someone else wants and I never had a problem selling it. Now since postage is so high for Ebay I'm at a loss as what to do...gulp. I should do a online garage sale. Hey, do they have those?, lol!

Have fun at your rummage sale this weekend. Where are you having the sale? I have more junk in my house than anyone could imagine. One room is sad...lol It has everything I have accumulated over the years all store in there along with softball equipment my husband uses. Too cluttered to even get in there and clean. So it's actually disgusting! Am curious to know how you price things. I wouldn't know where to start. Hope you have a fun and profitable day, carolbee

My craft room is in order but I have crafts scattered throughout the house. Some in garage, some in family room and some in 2 bedrooms. This room is terribly dusty so I don't keep any finished crafts in here. I became a slob over the winter..lol Much success and have fun, carolbee

At my sister's house in Mankato....I just price them to sell as I don't plan on bringing any of it home....LOL.....does your craft room look like mine? I went through my rubber stamps and I am selling 20 of them.....now I only have about 800 left....can you say she gets addicted to things? LOL

I don't really have a lot of stuff I need to get rid of. I pretty much purged all our junk when we moved just over a year ago. The only thing I have now that I don't need is clothes, but I'm pretty good about getting rid of them. I hold onto the boy's clothes until my youngest outgrows it.. then as soon as it doesn't fit him anymore it gets bagged and I eventually take it to the Salvation Army. My daughter just recently went through her dresser and brought me a ton of stuff she doesn't fit or has no plans to wear. I go through my own clothes on a regular basis and get rid of things I don't plan to wear or that I don't fit anymore. Hubby is a different story.. he has a lot of stuff hanging up that he never wears, and I constantly tell him to go through it but he never takes the time, and I won't do it for him because a lot of it is his work shirts.. he has like 3 shirts that look the same but 1 doesn't fit and 1 has a stain or hole so he won't wear it to work.. I don't want to toss away the wrong shirt, so that's why I won't do it for him.

There are so many things in my closet and my room that I want to get rid of. I have actually donated them to be rummaged by my church. I donated some bags, clothes, dresses, stuff toys and bathing suit. Having a rummage sale or donating your clothes would be a good way to get rid of your clothes and stuff. You can rather earn big cash through rummage or be a good citizen by donating your clothes.

I have gotten so far behind. My DIL wants to have one this month and have barely started at getting things together. She said she would like to put her things on a hay wagon so we can move it in and out. She has to work that Saturday morning. So i will start it. I can take my items over and that should make a very large sale. I have so many things in my closet to get rid of, either to small or to large.

I really don't have all that much stuff right now. I have tons of Lily's clothes that do not fit her anymore, but I am donating those to a friend. I purged a lot of my clutter over the last few years and if anything right now I need more stuff. My walls are bare. I don't have any real decorations in my house at all.

I love garage sales or rummage sales as you call them. I have several sales a year to clear out my junk, the kids old clothes .I usually make a few dollars. I have collected a lot of fine china over the years, from sales and now they must be worth a bit.Another persons trash is some-one elses treasure.

Hi Jill, In fact I can say that my closet is clear, the clothes in there are the ones I do in fact wear, had a clear out in April, the only clutter I have to sort isn't mine which are toys of my sons and as he is grounded for backchat with attitude (shwing off in front of mate) today he willbe sorting it all out with me. I may sell some of his good condition don't play with anymore on Ebay and any money made he can have to put towards something her really wants. Good luck with selling it all on Saturday. I remember you said you collected snowmen, not amnymore from the sounds of it lol. Huggles. Ellie :D

I know exactly what you are going through. I'm having a rummage sale next month sometime. I have so much stuff. There's all sorts of things in the closest, the car and many other places that I just don't need or use at all. Lots of clothes I don't or can't wear due to pregnancy weight and childbirth. Hoping to lose some weight but so far I haven't been able to lose very much. I am very amazed at the things I've acquired over the years. My mom collected snowmen for years. She sold some of hers as well at her rummage sale last week.

Hey jill! I am definitely guilty of buying things and having to keep going through my closets and throwing things out! I sometimes am amazed how I have collected as much junk throughout the years! But, when my bf moved in almost three years ago he made me get rid of so much stuff because there was no room for him to put his stuff and at that time he didn't even have that much! And now I am still cleaning out more stuff and it still amazes me how more junk I to get rid of although I am amost pretty well cleaned out! We were talking about having a tag sale, but most of my stuff isn't worth much so alot of it just gets thrown out!
