Happy Song

I have a happy song and whenever I'm feeling blue, I always reach for my i-pod to listen to my happyy song, "The Way I Are" by Timbaland. It's slowly being dethroned by Beastie Boys' "Sabotage." They're not from the same genre but they have the same effect on my mood.

Hi myswirlyagelessmind, it's nice for one to have a happy song. I do have one and I would sing it out unconsciously no matter I'm in a blue mood or happy mood.

Mine is an very old movie classical theme song The Days When We Were Young. It's the song which I learned from my uncle. It's a easy as well as easy to learn song. He liked to sing this song whenever he was together with many good friends in some happy occasions. He did sing the song when he was in low spirit. When talking about this song I recall many scenes when he was still alive.

Happy song? I don't think I consciously have one. I don't think a song can get me out of a funk if I'm seriously down. There are songs I find cheerful such as your token kiddie song, but I doubt they're powerful enough to get me out of the blues. Good thoughts and self pep talks work better on me.:)
