Looking for tips about adsense...

I have a few sites, which use a blog and wordpress theme, and indeed i can place ads from adsense. But from a few months or even years, my adsense income up to now only $7.28. I plan to create a site using wordpress theme again, but i'm confused, what should i do from the beginning. Please share tips on how to make the site really good and could increase my adsense. or anyone have any tips other than adsense, please share with me. I would really appreciate and i would be very greatfull. thanks

You should try studying Search Engine Optimization as the guy above me said. It's more about traffics than your website actually looking nice :P.
