Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese system of aesthetics, believed to use the laws of both Heaven and Earth to help one improve life by receiving positive qi. I was introduced to Feng Shui by my mom. It's really fun because I really like re arranging furnitures and fixing our home. I try to move things and clean all the clutter to achieve positive vibes in our home. How about you, do you believe in Feng Shui?

it's not something that I believe in. but there are aspects of it that make sense, if not in the way that it's intended. if you leave your toilet seat up, your luck isn't going down the toilet, but when you flush, germs will be flying up into the air, and maybe getting on your toothbrush. that's not very lucky. and if there is a flow to the layout of a room, it isn't that the energy flows more easily (energy can flow through things without any hindrance) but it's calming to the eye when there are smooth lines from one area of the room or garden to another. so I don't believe in Feng Shui as the aspects of the home affecting energy flow, but there are practices in this tradition that can affect how someone feels when they are in that room. but it's aesthetics rather than energy flow. energy will do what it wants, whether we have a bowl of water or something metal or candles or whatever.

This is a nice topic. Gave it a +. :) Anyway, yes. The ancient tradition of Feng Shui is definitely true in a lot of ways. It is very practical and meant to ease your movement if only for micro-bit-moments. The problem is, this is only mostly true with the true art of Feng Shui. Most of the information about this that we have access to nowadays are very much tainted already... either with Western new age twist or a modern twist of any form. It has already been transformed into a money making machine, and when that happens, with anything; the core usually is the first to get blemished. The good news is, in this case, the only taint that has been added are the products they try to sell you to put in your house or doorstep to bring in good energy etc etc. So the info is mostly still intact. Come to think of it, in this light, they seem to be the original interior decorators of the world aren't they? Cute little Chinese room decorators Lol. But yes, it does make a lot of sense if you think about it. And it's important to find the right advisor. Preferrably someone who wouldn't charge you money (good luck!). So again, yes, I do believe in Feng Shui. :) ++!!!

I think it is not always practical to follow. You cannot alway re-arrange your furnitures or stuff according to its priciples. But if you do it can take effect on your life.

I don't believe in Feng Shui. I don't think it has a relationship to change the fate. Some methods may be reasonable, such as having a aquarium in the livingroom. At least the air will not be so dry, perhaps it is good for the health. I love China

Hi there, Sorry but I don't believe in Feng Shui. There is only on "being" who can direct our life and that is our one and only God. I'm saddened to the fact that many Filipinos do believe in this. Many of us rely to this too much that we are very willing to pay that much just to follow what it tells us to do.

I do not belive in feng shui. Sometimes people become dependent on the feng shui of doing things. I do not want to depend on anything, while doing something. I jus rely on my God.

For sure I believe in Feng Shui. I have arranged my room in the feng shui way and love keeping my house clutter free at all times. Clutter creates negative ora around the house and I can't deal with it. I don't understand people that can live with the clutter all around day in and day out. When your home is arranged in order and with positive flow it brings great vibe and a wonderful calming life.

Feng shui i think if i'm not mistaken is derived from the ancient Chinese belief.i don't know if all Chinese believe in Feng Shui, some nationalities believe in this practice,Just like Religions, every members of each religion has different beliefs and Faith, if you believe in one thing or the other, that i think is the positive vibes that creates the energy...Every religion has its own beliefs so as the members of each Religion...Chinese believes in Feng Shui, some chi-noys or Chinese-Filipino believe it too, other nationalities i think practice it too.Indians do not,Japanese people i think has its own beliefs,so as the Muslims..and the truth is,when you believe in one thing and put focus on it,embed it inside our minds and practice...That is the belief that we are believing up to these days maybe,Catholics,Buddhist,Muslims,Atheist etc....i believe in God,the words of god..to me that is my Feng Shui....

My grandfather was a Feng Shui observer, but I don't believe it can really affect our physical life. However, I'm still interested in Feng Shui knowledge, because it's useful when reading ancient Chinese books. They can't be understood clearly without these things related on ancient Chinese culture.
