when i was watching Iron Man 2 in the cinema last time, a big dude sat next to me and he act as if he was watching the movie right from his living room..he munched the popcorn loudly and at one point, his phone suddenly rang!!i started to be more uncomfortable and it was because of few things..first,he didn't put his phone on silent mode..secondly,he did pick up the phone..i will be ok with it if it might be urgent but i can heard the conversation clearly..his friend called and asked whether he will join them for soccer..i mean,hello..i'm trying to watch a movie here..personally,he is so inconsiderate....and i hate that attitude!

I also hate that kind of attitude, some of our cinema here has that kind of reminder to put the phone on silent mode and dont answer the call or go outside if you are going to answer the call. That's the reminder we have here.
I remember that it happened like that all of the people in the cinema shouted out him to get out in the cinema and some other would say ssshhhhhhhhhhh.....

Exactly there is already a reminder and he is still doing the same thing. He is really idiot that could not understand simple instruction. Good thing there is a brave man who shouted to him to get out because he is disturbing us. Good thing he followed or else, my goodness I no longer know what kind of person he is. If he still don't know how follow simple instruction and to think he is already matured enough.

Sad to say that there are people who are inconsiderate of others.
I strongly suggest that we should help each other to eliminate those kind of person by raising up a generation who will know how to consider others and be well mannered and know how to respect people, things and place.
God bless every one! Aja! Kaya natin yan! hehehehe!

if i were you i'd just put this to rest with the belief that cinemas aren't present from the place where he came from because i don't want to think that any mother would ever forget to teach a kid growing up about private spaces and even actions to be in public places.

maybe..he look a kind of haggard..hehe..yeah,it's so important ro respect others especially when you are in cinema with a bunch of people that are so eager to watch that movie..and suddenly there is some kind of distraction that will surely make others feel uneasy and the excitement will lost bit by bit..if the number of people doing it increase..nobody like it..

This phenominen is very common in public, including happening in the cinema. In my opinion, anyone should put his or her phone on silent mode so as not to disturb others around him or her. It is very polite in public. If one talks on end in public,he or she will bother others and make them uncomfortable. However, if the thing is very urgent,he have to answer the phone, that is not avoidable. We can understand that situation. But the mentioned above is not forgivable. I strongly hate it!! So I suggest that everyone should put the phone on silent mode or turn off the phone best. Otherwise,a bad habit will damage your own image or reputation in public or makes you lose face. Too bad!

I totally agree with you devon0..people that answer their phone in cinemas should be sent out..eventhough it is not against the law, it is improper to disturb the attention of the people in the cinema..I would personally tell the person to shhh him or her down..the sound is very disturbing..it is RUDE..phone should not be allowed..have a nice day..

Hi, amellly. I know that I would have been irritated too! This guy should have shown more common courtesy to you all knowing that everyone was watching a movie. No one wants to hear him munching on his popcorn, and talking on his cell phone about his later plans. He should have been kicked out of the theatre for this. It is very rude to talk while others are trying to watch a movie. He has no manners whatsoever!

it's either he's a total jerk or a total moron. he's extremely inconsiderate and has unlikely superiority complex. if someone like that is seated next to me on a cinema, and his/her loudness is not tolerable, i'd definitely tell him/her to go out. and the rest would depend on how he or she will respond.^_~

I've never had that experience in the theater before but I'm very certain there would be a lot of faces glaring at him, people telling him to shhhhh and maybe he'd get picked up and thrown out. He probably thinks that his big size means he can do whatever he wants to.

Yeah, as far as I am concerned, I think I will be angry with the person who answers cell phone in a cinema. For me, I think if he answers a phone call in a cinema, which will disturb others' watching and listening. In the heart , they will feel not so well when someone is just talking when he is concentrate on the film. It does affect the watching!

yeah. nowadays even educated people act like uncivilized tribals. Education ought to make a person better. But most people get educated only for getting jobs when they grow up. The real aim of education is to make a person better- make him a civilized person. But we go to schools just for namesake.

I think you would have felt to kick him on his back.right?I also hate such mannerism.May be they don't know how to behave socially and i think these all behaviors come from the society in which they live.Or is that just a mental problem that they find satisfaction in causing inconvenience to other.whatever!such peoples create problems.

there was a time when i had to answer a call inside a cinema. my mistake is i answered the phone and i barely hear the person on the other line. what a dumb move to do. i should've gone downstairs and talked the person.
and now when there are people who answer their calls while watching a movie, and they are all what i hear, i wanna react but i can't, because i did this once. i would be a hypocrite if i reacted.
however, it is quite rude to do it. i mean, even if people do not want to hear your conversation, they would. because you unknowingly increase the volume of the voice and compete with the decibels inside a cinema.

hey goddes..yeah.mybe it's not your fault for the first time because you didn't realised it but glad you realised it then..yeah the problem is it's hard to hear a thing with a loud decibels in the cinema..surely you will shout when you actually don't have to and that is why it;s so disturbing...

People like the man sitting next to you should always remain home to watch movies because I hate these people who think they are at their home and not in a cinema theater and how they should behave. Once a guy sitting next to me was constantly talking to his girlfriend and explaining something, the girl I think was angry and told him " Are you the director of the movie? Can't you let me watch it myself and decide? You go or I go?" So the girl changed her place and everyone near was looking at the guy who was embarrassed and left. I like here attitudes though, because I believe we should behave ourselves when entering a cinema hall where we have many people ther.

Yeah, i also hate those people who're just so inconsiderate. It seems they don't even realize they're out of their houses. They should know the difference between a public place and a private place. Lol.

Everywhere we go theres always these kinds of people who never fail to make us feel bad lol .Whenever im inside the cinema im kinda rude to those kinds of people too but i try to be diplomatic at first. One time i was watching harry potter and then this guy behind me keeps on kicking my seat from behind it made me dizzy i told him please dont kick my seat because its irritating me then i saw him and he said sorry i wont anymore, afterawhile he and maybe his girlfriend are talking so loud that its more like their inside the market place instead of the cinema i was already gearing up to tell them to shut the hell our their mouth when suddenly some copcorns are flying towards them. Our other friends inside the cinemaare pissed with their noise too hahaha. Thats an experience that i will never forget

wow..that is worst that mine...yeah,i also hate if people behind me kick my seat repeatedly when he is excited or someone in front of me blocking my view because he keep standing or even chatting loudly..these kind of people should know that we wanted to watch the movie in peace and have fun watching it...

I hate people having casual conversations when a movie is on in a theatre .
i get annoyed by this as this has happened to me many times. If it's your favorite movie or a interesting one ,then it's more irritating .
People taking urgent calls do go out and have their conversations , but these guys they think the cinema is their home and start chatting .
At first , I politely ask them to go out or lower their voices , people do oblige when a request is polite .
People should understand that first of all , a cinema is a public place where many people come to enjoy the movie and relax . So it would be most appropriate to have the phone switched off or in silent mode .
I totally agree with you !!
