Flu shot or not?

With flu season upon us, I am curious...do you take a flu shot, or not?
For a long time, I didn't get a flu shot. Rather, I chose to take my chances. I only ended up with a full blown case of flu (I'm not sure if there is anything other than a full-blown case LOL), one time in about 6 or 7 years. Two years ago, I got the shot. Last year, with the vaccine shortage, I didn't get one --didn't get the flu either! This year, I plan to play it safe and get the shot - next week.

Nah I dont take the flu shot even if its during or nearinf the flu season, I am a firm believer in the power of nature, and I believe that it is better to rely on natural dietary means such as fruits and vegetables to build up a strong immunity against the flu bug.

I'm young enough and healthy enough where I could fight off the flu on my own.
I save the shots for those older than me that might find the flu deadly.

That was my reasoning for not getting one last year, but if the vaccine is readily available and there is enough for everyone with no shortages, I will probably get it. On the very rare occasion that I have gotten the flu, I have been able to recover with no major complications.
