is he the best ?

He is very talented thus far in his career but i think it is too soon to call him the best. He is a terrific producer and a great rapper with the talent to be the best eventually.

The best is a reach, but one of the best? Hell, yes. The guy is like the Michael Jackson of our generation. He's a musical genius right in front of our eyes. I'm not saying he'll reach the success of Jackson, but it seems like he has the same mindset as him. He works constantly, and the work he puts out is consistently amazing. Eminem may be the greatest rapper out there today, but Kanye is the overall better artist: he writes his own lyrics, he's capable of producing the dopest tracks, his impact on pop culture pervades (Remember shutter glasses? Nobody wore those before he came around), etc., and that's not even mentioning the controversy and notoriety that surrounds him that makes him stand out even more. It's no wonder why his most recent album is often named the best album of 2010.

I like his music and his style very much, his personality not so much. But he's very talented, for sure!
