Browsing new discussions

How many of you who follow up the new discussions bother going to the second / third page ? To be honest I don't always go to the next pages when I want to respond to a new discussion thinking that those discussions have been discussed already and that I might not find a discussion that suits my interests since I can't find some on the first page. But today I said to myself ... lets browse the other pages and see what's there since I don't find the new discussions on the first page very interesting. And guess what ... alot of interesting discussions right under my nose and I was complaining there's nothing interesting to read and discuss about. From now on I will check the other pages as well ... who knows what discussion I might miss. How about you ? Do you also sit and wait for new discussion to appear on the first page ?

I have never gone to the 2nd or 3rd page. Actually I haven't thought about it, yet! Good point! Thanks for bringing it up. I will look into it from now on.

Bless you. I've never turned the second page nor the third and fourth. Like you, I found today is soooo boring. I am not in a mood to write a new discussion and neither I am in a mood to respond on the discussion that I don't really know what about. Okay, let me check the second page, and if I could not find any than I will turn to the third page and so on.

The discussions are there ... you just have to look for them. I sometimes have the same mood like not opening a new discussion ... so I just browse what ever discussions are available.

I have to admit that at one time I didn't go past page one, but after several days of not seeing a topic that really caught my attention I have began to g back, it is surprising what interesting discussions you find that have managed to pass you by the first time round. There are some really good discussion ideas just lurking waiting for a member to swoop down on it and bring it back to life. Go on rescue a discussion today!!

I would be very grateful if someone would respond to one of my discussions that got lost in the many discussions because then my discussion would have a second chance to get more answers.

Hello, geojb90! Originally I find discussions on the "discussions" tab, and always find to the third even the fifth page. I choose my interest in them. But recently since I have more friends now, I focused on my friends' started discussions, and sometimes the "my interest" and "today's top", all of these are on the homepage. If I can't find one interests me, I just refresh simply. So I seldom go to the other page to find discussions. Happy Lotting!

Answering your last question as well, I only browse the topics that I am interested because it's quite hard to participate on a discussion that you know nothing about.

I go through as many pages as I have the time for to be honest with you. There are many times where I tend to take a light weekend and do not post as much as I would like to. Therefore, the pages tend to build up, until I am able to return. So by going through the multitude of pages. So past the second, third, fourth, fifth, and well you do get the idea. Just because it's not on the first page, does not mean its not interesting. Plus, there is always a chance that I might have something that could be useful to someone. Granted, its a small chance, but you really have to take what you can get. Still, I tend to go through every page. You never know what gems that you might find that deserve a bit of a response.
