That since basically the word went into recession (most of us are supposed to out now though) that there are alot more people like you & me trying to make a few extra dollars online? Just about everytime I recieve a payment from one of the sites I earn online with, I post it in my status on facebook & have noticed that quite a few of my friends (even old school friends) are interested & either sign up or look at the site...I have even verbally mentioned some of these sites to my friends & they have asked me to email them more info because they believe the same as us that every little bit helps Have you noticed that more people are doing this? Looking to make a few extra bucks online?

I have not noticed this so much with my friends. A lot of my friends do not even know how to turn on a computer.
Others that do have the knowledge only use it for communicating for their business or for Facebook. Then I also have friends who have successful online businesses like me and are not interested in spending any more time online.

I can understand why some people don't want to spend more time online...it's very time consuming earning online - even for an online business like yours.

Yes, online activity can take over your life. It has harmed our relationship a bit in our home and now our kids are picking up our same habits. We are making changes in our lives now to rectify this problem.

Yes, more and more people are trying to make money online. On my Facebook friends list, I always post my referral links and a brief description about a GPT site. I get about 4 referrals off of my posts every day for about 5 days.

You are lucky that you are able to get that many referrals!! I have had a few people interested but only a couple have joined up so far.

I noticed that old spending habits have changed. People are no longer whipping out a credit card to buy everything they want to have. Instead it seems like people have become smarter shoppers, looking for bargains and buying only what they need.
As unemployment continues to grow, more and more people will eventually be looking to start creating secondary streams of income.

I have found that many more people are looking to make extra money on line. I was just trying to make a few extra bucks to get me through til payday. It never fails that money is tight toward the end of the pay period. Now, I am unemployed and looking for a job, so every little bit helps!

I agree - every little bit does help...even if it's a gift card to a store where you can buy groceries :P

Yeah, I completely agree with you. Nowadays, more and more people are likely to earn some extra money online, like you and me.
Emm, I think it's mainly because all of us want to earn more to support ourselves and to make lives easier. Although the amount is not large, it's better than none.
But, there are sometimes I wonder whether it's worthy to spend such time in making money online. You see, usually there's just several cents we can earn per day...

Well,I am from India, running a little business and I am not affected by recession directly. But it hit me indirectly in the stock market.I like to earn something online as a pass time in my idle hours of business. But that won't sum up to meet my internet bill even. How about you there? Can you earn more than your internet bill?

I don't always earn back what my internet bill is per month but I have earned a bit since I REALLY started trying to earn some online :)

Yeah, I have noticed that. But I also notice that while I am trying to scrape together a few extra cents on these sites, there are still people building new houses and businesses! I also noticed there are still lots and lots of people taking their water toys to the lake! I notice all this and wonder who is really being effected the most by this recession.. some are .. and some are not!

Yeah I think there are a lot of people like us doing the same thing. I must admit though since starting here, I have not really done anything else, and forgotten that the only reason I came here was to earn money.
The recession has hit everyone hard, and we all seem to find just that extra little bit from somewhere, trouble id for me, unless I sign up at loads of different sites or find that one thing that works, I am not really going to earn a substancial amount of money that is going to improve things. So for the time being until I find something that could generate me an extra £100 per week, I have given up, and just enjoy my time here.

I too have forgotten that the main reason I joined here was to earn money...I have loads of fun here :) I too have also given up trying to earn a "decent" income online but I agree with you that any money we can generate online is better than none & every little bit helps.
