So Sprint has come out with this line of Android based phones. Can somebody please explain the difference between having the Android power and just the normal access to web on a phone? Also, should you wait a year like with a new style of car so kinks can be worked out?

I think a lot has to do with the fact that you can download so many applications to run on your phone... kind of like the iphone, some you can get for free, some you have to pay for. But generally Android phones, have an application market where you can go to find some apps for your phone... anything from games, to entertainment, resources, online banking sites, shopping sites, books etc

so this is pretty similar to the iPhone or the iTouch? I just think that there should be a line drawn between how much can be on the phones. I understand the need for all of that, but we have done so well with what we have been given on phones now..I just think it shows more signs of someone having to always be connected and not appreciating their friends and family on a daily basis. Some people can disconnect but I think one in 3 people I know is on their phon 90% of the time I or anyone in a group hangs out with them.

I don't really know anything about android, as I have never had one. My daughter has the htc aeris which is an android phone, and she really likes it because of the apps that she can put on it. I have the Samsung Omnia 2, which has a marketplace too, and I can download and install lots of apps, some free and some not. There are a lot of apps to choose from and I like that about it too. Mine has lots of other features, and I am very pleased with it. Take care, and happy mylotting.
