I live in a city called Las Pinas in the capital region of the Philippines. It was regaled as the Cleanest and Greenest City in Metro Manila for three consecutive years, so I guess that's something to be proud of. However, my city doesn't seem very clean or green to me, which makes me wonder about how the other cities look like.

Oh I did? Sometimes I go through old discussions when I have nothing else to say about the new ones.
About Las Pinas City, it was called the greenest and cleanest city but it is quite notorious for the incredibly bad traffic situation. Now I know cities often have traffic jams but the traffic in Las Pinas can sort of make people who experience it for the first time cry or have a fit. It's just sooooo bad. A stretch of a road that can be traversed in 20 minutes will take an hour and a half on a good day.
Well, aside from that, it has a famed church called the Bamboo Organ Church or St. Joseph's Parish. What's special about it aside from the fact that it's ancient is because it houses, well, an organ(musical instrument) made of bamboo!

Ohh! i forget, that sarangani is the capital and Maitum is the province. It's not a city though. Very small town but, lot's of beautiful places that i really proud:-). Two and a half hour before u reach the General Santos City ( it depends the traffic). There is a story bout my province. Before the inception in 1992, Sarangani was part of South Cotabato and held its title as the lone distrct of South Cot.
ANd now maitum was a very unspoiled province. THe ancient artifacts that i mentioned, it was a 3,000 year old. The interesting of it was the beauty and the people there. Lots of diff. culture and traditons, but if the town anniversary was coming we are all participate on it. Even the native people:).

I live in Perth Western Australia. Our port is called Fremantle. When American astronaut John Glenn passed over our city in 1962 he named it "City of Lights" because apparently all the residents put their house lights on as he passed overhead creating a beautiful image of lights. We have a huge park called Kings Park which overlooks the city and offers quite amazing views. I love living here. It is a city which is not too big and by no means too small; the people are friendly and the climate very comfortable.
