Is it possible to have nothing and later acquire everything. Can one person go from having no family to making their own? If so what do you think makes this possible. After being degraded, mistreated, hurt, and disrespected what do you think allows that person to wake up everyday and continue their everyday lives? What are the characteristics in your words of a strong person?

everything starts from nothing..i definitely believe that things will work out for you if you set your mind to it..have a goal..think about how you can reach your goal and act on it..ignore those people who's been mistreating you..treat them as your fuel to succeed..they will give you more power to succeed because you want to prove something to them and to yourself to..just don't give up..

Yes; miracles and reversal of circumstances happen every day. Some of the people I know who had the worst childhoods have great adulthoods and families and financial success. To me, a strong person has a love of and a foundation in God and his principles; he is mighty in spirit. I'm not saying it's easy, but if one can develope spiritual fortitude, he can weather the inevitable storms of life. We all have them. I'm not trying to minimize anyone's pain and suffering. Look at what our Lord and Savior endured so we might be set free and forgiven of our transgressions.
The owner of Wendy's was an orphan who had a successful family life and great business. Look at Oprah Winfrey, but I think she is not a true good example because of the ingratitude she has shown the country that allowed her to become a financial "success" story. She has become too "full of herself" and arrogant in her dealings with others and then some.
