I suggest that after you wash your hands make sure to dry them very well. Do you take vitamin E this is good for the skin.
I had this problem but now not so often. Try to use disposable gloves not with powder, if you can when you washing anything else then your hands. Cream small tube in your bag-always. And may be also wash your hands with face soap, that leaves your hands with a touch of cream.
Now the best one is put AVOCADO on your hands and use it like a cream for 5 minutes, you will not beleive the great feeling of your hands, its like the hands breathing.
I hope it will help you.

Hi, macdingolinger. I think that you should try using Soft Soap. You need a hand sanitizer that moisturizes your hands. Aloe Vera products may suit you better too. You should use a hand soap that works gentle on your hands and that does not dry them out.

I avoid using sanitizers even if they have moisturizers (or so as the label says) because they tend to dry my skin and make it worse. I only use sanitizers like twice a day, or after getting my hands really dirty. But on a more regular basis, I think dove soap works just fine, for frequent hand washing. Since I wash my hands frequent enough, even if it's not an antiseptic soap that I use, there shouldn't be bacteria build-up on the skin.

yeah... sanitizers dries the hand...
a lot of my officemates hated it when we had to apply hand sanitizer before we can enter the floor.. it was to protect ourselves from ah1n1... if the guard isnt watching we enter the floor without applying hand sanitizers...
my hands dries up too, after washing sometimes.. its either because of the water or the soap.. i guess its because of the soap.. so what i do, i apply moisturizer or skin cream after washing...

Yeah, but I keep forgetting to bring lotion with me! Sometimes I rinse my hands with water and leave off the soap.

oh, maybe you can transfer your lotion or moisturizer in smaller container... and just keep it in your bag or purse so you wont forget it... that's what i usually do... and i also leave a mall bottle of moisturizer in my office locker...

The most common cause of dry hands is simple: OVER WASHING and UNDER MOISTURISING, although other common causes includes use of cleaning chemicals, washing your hands with ordinary soap especially done throughout the day without moisturising and very cold and hot weather. there are number of natural ingredients that are commonly use for skin rejuvenation and skin health. Vitamin E oil is an excellent antioxidant moisturiser that repairs dry rough skin and restores skin health. Try putting lotion every after washing to bring back moisture..
