Well I really don't think its worth it. It might make u feel good for a time and relieve your boredom but at the end of the day how many online relationships actually go any where. I believe its a nice way for married people to cheat and not get caught. Besides you don't really know who you are getting involved with when you meet someone online. They could be an ax murderer and sound romantic but is that what you want. Bottom line is you cant really get to know someone over the internet.

This is happening in this new world, the technology give us this kind of situation.
Some people are taking chances, for fun,and for real.
Lucky are those who found their real love on the net,and for those unfortunate ones,it maybe their fate of destiny that they've choose to have.
No one will be victimize as long as no one allow it.
We must be careful when it comes to relationship, virtual or real one.
So,i guess,it is the person who allows being victimize and not the virtual world itself.
Have a great weekend ahead

Because it's online. You don't have to risk anything, and you don't have to show yourself or anything. It's just so easy to do it, and it's convinient.
I personally don't do it because I think it's just stupid. But if you're bored, it's something to do :).

Well online dating or virtual dating works for me because I met my husband online. Before I really thought online dating is just for fun or to lessen your boredom at work but it changes everything when I met the man of my life. But today's generation, I have a doubt if that thing still work. But I'm not encouraging everybody, try it if it works for you.

My theory would be that men and women like to feel the pleasure of being in a relationship, be it spending quality conversation time or exchange of ideas and cultures or just experiencing comfort or care from another person. Some desire it because they feel safe and secure from being miles away free from pressure of having them right infront of you. Or perhaps they feel its an escape from the day to day repetitive life and escape to a fantasy where imagination is the limit. =)
Whatever their reason may be belongs to them and as long as both parties are happy and serious about it then i guess it has its perks.
I really wouldnt know about online dating but i guess it would be nice to exchange intellectual ideas from someone online be it the opposite gender. =)
