The latest news from Goal.com reveals that Joe Cole has penned a 3 year deal with 80,000 pounds a week. Seems like Arsenal are starting to be very active in Transfer market. What are you to say? Is it a good deal or is it not?

Well, I just read the newspapers saying Joe Cole is leaving Chelsea and many teams are actually looking forward to sign him. I didn't really expect he will finally join Arsenal. As a Arsenal fans, I really hope he can fit into the team well, and they perform better and more consistent in next season. I think Arsenal really wants to win a title, it's been too long for them.

I personally thing it was a very good signing for arsenal as they lacked experienced players. With joe cole now into arsenal , i am having a gut feeling that fabregas is moving out.. Lets see how things shape up for Arsenal

I am upset with this news as a Chelsea fan. I feel he would be better suited for Spurs. Arsenal are trying to play catch up now with Chelsea and have lost their ways, the old Arsenal would buy academy players and have them grow through the ranks, now they will take anything that could help them win but what they are forgetting is 11 stars won't win you the league. You need a solid team that gels well together.

Yeah very true but this would be a good deal for arsenal as they terribly lack experience and with the likes of fabregas moving out, Arsene would rely on the experienced cole now.

Wow!! I would be stunned. Arsene Wenger going in Joe Cole is an interesting news. But this might be cover for Fabregas leaving for Barcelona. Also, he would get Joe Cole for free as he has already been released by Chelsea, but the wage of 80000 pounds a week seems to be way over the Wenger range!! Cheers! Ram

Hi friend yeah I think that once Cole is a free player Arsenal didn't waste time to sign him and there is nothing wrong in it.However as an Arsene Wenger fan i am a bit skeptical about this signing as I think that Arsenal have decided to part ways with Cesc Fabregas who is going to join Barcelona and inducted Joe Cole in his place. If fabregas goes away then it will be a serious problem for Arsenal as we have seen that in the last few years the team revolved around Fabregas.Still this will be a new challenge for wenger and let's see what he does to fill the void.

I am a chelsea fan. I am upset to hear the news. Joe Cole is a great player for Chelsea although he did not play too many games last season due to injury. Chelsea shouldn't have let him go to Arsenal.
