Have you had your article featured on the front page of Helium?

Today my article on the modern artist Jeff Koons is on the front page of Helium. It's an older article and not a very popular one, but it's flattering to see your work there. This is only the second time one of my articles has appeared. The other one was on bird watching.
Has your article been on the front page? What was it about? Did it help your page views?

Hello, Art. Well done! I've had a couple of front page articles. One was about New Year parties, about two years ago, and I missed it - I was away from the computer for a few days and by the time I got back, it had gone.
A few weeks ago, I had another one on the front page, it was an entertainment article about British sitcoms. It did earn almost a dollar in page views while it was there,which was good, as entertainment articles don't earn all that well.
I've had a few articles featured on the channel front pages, and I get a little frisson seeing my name up in lights, as it were.

Well my glory didn't last long, it is already down. At least they kept the bird article up for awhile. I just am curious how they pick things. I guess they are trying to show a range of topics.
I miss those British sitcoms!

Hi Sandra, I know how you feel. Last year they featured an article and I was away from the computer at my dad's. That's okay, this year has made up for it. I have had several articles featured this year and everytime I get one of those notifications it's like wow!, and I have to go look. I don't get as lucky as you. I don't think I have made a $1 in page views when my articles are featured. Although, the fingernail article did okay.
Hi Anything! I think you are right about how they pick topics. It looks random most of the time. Sometimes there are articles that go together.

Hello, Mommaj. I'll look out for you on the front page, then. It's a nice feeling, isn't it? It just makes you feel as if your writing's good, because the front page is Helium's showcase, and they're not just going to put anything up there, are they? At least, that's my take on it.

Congrats! It's always, always cool to have your work featured in some way like that. I'm hoping to gain some accolades on Associated Content in the near future.

Well, my article(s) have never made it to the front page of main Helium homepage. However, I regularly see some of my technology articles on the computers and Internet interest page. One of them was on Mutating tables, another on Shared Server in Oracle.

I have had articles featured on the front page of channels but I don't think on the home page itself. It's always a nice surprise to see though. Congrats on your feature!
