Would someone please tell me why my posts always have just a ! at the end and do not have a + or - like everyone else. Am I doing something wrong? Thank you.

You are doing nothing wrong. The reason why your posts do not have '+' or '-' is that you cannot (of course) rate your own posts (see the explanation of the Discussion Rating System in the FAQs. You can, however, 'report'/'suggest'/'recommend'/'ask for' your own posts to be deleted. All deletions are at the discretion of Admin, so if you wished to delete one of your own discussions or responses, you would need to give a valid and cogent reason.

I think that, as it's a fairly recent addition, it isn't yet mentioned in the FAQs, so you can certainly be forgiven for not seeing it!
