Sadly, I can't change my mind as we agree, in ways. I read the first book a while back (right when it came out) because I was into the teen drama/sci-fi thing at the time, and it sounded a little interesting. Little did I figure that Stephenie Meyer (author of Twilight books) is the Danielle Steele of teen fiction. I was totally bored by all of the romance and love and all that - I wanted more action!
I've seen the first two movies(in my defense, if I need one, is that I was travelling by plane a couple months ago and there wasn't too much going on besides the Twilight movies.) They didn't interest me at all, really, which is sad. I don't think Kristen Stewart OR Robert Pattinson are good actors/actresses and I really felt no chemistry between them. I think a lot of people like the IDEA of twilight more than the actual plot/characters/acting, if that makes sense.

I am so in agreement with you. Yes, i admit i watched the first one just to see if they might change it for hollywood sake. I to thought there was going to be more action and it was to romantic. I don't like romance novels. I don't think when i was twelve i would find the book/series interesting. too bad cause i did have such high hopes...
