I am the eldest son and I have one brother and a sister. Whenever we have a conflict with my younger brother, I am the most blamed by my parents. I always heard, you should be the one and understand your little brother because you are matured than him. Is it correct?

i am the eldest among three siblings too. i guess our parents give us the task to be responsible with our younger siblings because they think we can and we should. as the eldest my mother would tell me to look after my sister and brother especially when they are not around. i remember my little brother being so stubborn and won't listen to me so as soon as our parents arrived from work i will tell them what happened and who doesn't listen at all

lol! hi rimjay, i think that's kinda normal for eldest child to experience. hehe i am also the eldest in our family, well its just me and my brother. and like you, whenever things happens between me and my brother usually i should be the one to understand, and usually the one who receives the scoldings from our parents. well i get used to that and that was just before. sometimes i have bad feelings but i learn to accept it and be responsible, actually my parents are fair coz whenever things happens although i receive more scoldings my brother receive some too and my parents are telling him to respect me as her older sister.

My parents also said the same to me that I should be responsible for my siblings because I am the eldest and that I must always understand them. However, my parents also told my siblings that they should be nicer and respect me because I am their older sister. You should always take care of your younger siblings and understand them because you are more mature than them and you know the difference between wrong and right.
