December 21, 2012. A date that we most commonly hear about and something the media has been informing about ever since the day it was discovered. It mainly narrows down to the culture of the Mayans and their Mayan calendar. Some of you may not know much about this, but the because the Mayan calendar ended on the date on 2012, people assume that will be a great apocalypse, or the end of the world! Now the Mayans were intelligent and mysterious people. They were really interested in Astrology too. But get this. The Mayan calendar has been mostly accurate with everything said on it! Anywhere from predictions of when comets will appear to other events happening in space. Now with that said, what do you think? What do you think will happen on that date? Do you really believe it or if not, do you think there's a little possiblity that it might happen or something distructive will at least happen? I would love to hear your opinions on this. There's alot more that goes with the date. The Mayans weren't the only old civilization who assumed the date's fate. Well hope to hear from you all! Thanks!

Frankly I do not believe in prophecy maya tribe of the "2012 Judgement". If there are big disasters that struck the world is possible it could happen. I still want to live in this world any longer and I hope not to happen at the end when I was still alive, hehee ....

Eh, I don't believe it one bit. But I'm a skeptic at heart, really. I think that the world is paranoid, and we move on from one paranoia to the next pretty quickly. Paranoia and fear sells (remember how sales of bottled water quadrupled during the Y2K scare?). I refuse to be afraid of any of this kind of nonsense, despite the weird circumstances and history backing it up. I won't buy in. But that's just me!

You're right about that, fear sells and controls. Yah it's all about the money. But I don't think the Mayans thought of it like that. But I respect where you stand! You aren't gullible and that's a good thing. Well I do hope 2012 isn't a fact lol.
