I want to know if anybody has been given empty promises by Standard Chartered Bank? I have been duped (I beleive) twice.
The first time they claim that if we open account with them, we will be able to win something. Okay so maybe I didn't win but they didn't announce a winner either.
The second time they send a letter telling that me will give me a mothers day hamper. Since the kids want to see a movie, I thought I will claim this gift. But was curtly told that the hampers are all redeemed which may be true and false at the same time.
False in the sense that they might not have this hamper in the first place and just want you to come by and they can offer you a 'product' or two.
I have also called their bank about three times asking about how things are to be done and received poor service with people who are not knowledgeble at all. And until now I cannot deposit any money into my standard chartered account through internet banking.
Their service at the counter is good though but you can find that kind of service with any other bank.
Okay maybe I took too long to claim the gift but have you ever gotten such items from Standard Chartered Bank?
My father swears by the bank but I want to know if you have such 'bad' experience with Standard Chartered Bank?
