We red in many articles and we watched on television, we can only use our eyeshadow for only 18 months when we open it and use it. I genuinely appreciate, those people who wrote those articles and who said it on beauty television shows. With all due respect, modesty aside I am also a makeup expert in my own right.:-) Based on my experience with eyeshadow, the shelf life depends on how the end user store her eyeshadow. I'd like to share a few tips on how to prolong the shelf life of our eyeshadow. 1. After using your eyeshadow product, close it tightly. Do not leave it open for too long. That causes bacteria build up. 2. Store your eyeshadow in a cool dry place. Do not expose it in too much heat, or just leave everywhere open. 3. Do not let others use your eyeshadow unless, the person you are going to lend it too is going to use a clean brush or better yet, you will be the one to apply the eyeshadow on her, to ensure the cleanliness of the makeup tools you use. 4. Use clean brushes or sponge applicator to avoid bacteria build up. 5. keep your eyeshadow covered at all times.
