Hi, I'm planning to buy a laptop or a mini notebook for myself but I am looking for a cheaper one, I have limited money only, used but in good condition will do. Do you think this one is a good buy? http://cgi.ebay.ph/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320545807699&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT or this one http://cgi.ebay.ph/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260604800327&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT or none of the above?
I just want your opinion but I preferred a laptop. Thanks guys!

Its like buying an old Laptop, I mean its brand new but the specs are old. With this specs you can not upgrade your laptop anymore, you will be stuck to its slow processor If you happen to see billboards selling PC Desktops Package for P2,000 to P3,000, then this laptop is just like that. If you wanna buy a laptop i suggest you go for brand new, since you have a job, apply for a credit card and soon you will have your Brand New Laptop, Please pick a Duo processor, dont dont settle for P4 or Sempron

Thanks you for enlightening me, I just don't like to have a credit card. It's just a pain in the head, I will search for a dual core as you said or I will save more to buy it.

I think I change my mind, I'll buy for a dual core desktop instead. A used CPU will do, microsoft office, photoshop, internet surfing and gaming are important to me.

DO NOT BUY second hand desktops (more than 6 months) if you don't want to have problems in the near future. You may want to check in gilmore. That's the place for cheaper laptops and desktops here in manila. or if you want second hand laptops go and register to www.tipidpc.com. check the sellers feedbacks first before buying something for your ease of mind. i also want to suggest the MSI brand. it has dual core cpu's and big ram and storage capacity with a cheaper price.

I've been checking desktops and laptops in tipidpc.com this day. I found one who's selling cheap dual core CPU. He has no negative feedback and the good thing is he's near to my place. I also consult my friends if they think that is a good buy. Thanks for sharing that. I will look for MSI brand too as you suggest.

ok, i didnt check your links but since you're in san pedro, i advise you to go buy your netbook in alabang. it's cheaper there. i bought mine for 21k but if you're patient, you might land in a store which can sell it to you for 16k. i've seen some good models with prices ranging from 17k to 21k. Asus, Dell, Lenovo, HP.. they all have mid to low priced netbooks. quality.. i really can't say anything about it since i'm only using my one and only lenovo. never tried others. dell is pretty solid. compaq full sized laptops are the cheapest, aside from neo brand laptops.

I don't know much about netbooks, but I think they're an awesome investment (I'm using one right now!) I was lucky enough to have my sister sell me hers for $150 a couple of days ago (a steal, since it's almost brand new - and she bought it for $350 or so). It's an HP Mini. The best thing I can tell you about it is that it's functionality is that of a laptop, just with less storage space (and a more compact design!).

Ok, thanks for that. I will use it for gaming and do some documents and surfing. But I want to have a large memory storage so I guess I will go for laptop. Still needs to find one.
