Does being honest to your partner a good thing to do?

A lot of times couple quarrel so many times, because their partner is not that open with their partner.When I started having a relationship, Openness is not always helpful to one another. It creates a negative impact if you are so much honest to your partner, though ideally we want them to be honest with us.So what do you think about being honest, is it a good thing to be always open and honest to your partner???

I still believe that HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY". Is there any thing in life that we do not know what we are doing? There's nothing! because we know our every moves, we know our thoughts and all that we are doing, we know who we are!
The Bible says that When you get married, the TWO become ONE! Since a couple is one body, being honest to another is necessary. Negative impact comes only when there is dishonesty! If there is something wrong, you open it though sometimes consequences follow

first thing be honest but not that honest of course some times u need to hide somethings and if u want ur partner to tell u every thing learn how to listen to them and don't make fun of them when they tell u about something private
and the most IMPORTANT thing is to become sensitive
