Do you ever wonder how animals can be so happy, so loving and so forgiving? Sure they get mad sometimes but for the most part they show unconditional love and bring us joy. Sometimes I wish we could have some of the qualities our pets have. Maybe the world would be a better place.

I agree. My cat is a pretty happy boy, although he's clearly lonely because there is no other cat in my house. I'm not anywhere near a balanced as he is, especially given his limited understanding. I leave him at sitters and doesn't know why I'm coming back. Yet he loves me anyway

I find it so hard to leave my cat for too long. If I am going somewhere where pets are allowed I actually fly with her just because it is too hard for me to be apart from her. She is like a baby and is always by my side. Sleeps beside me when I sleep, cuddles beside me when I am awake and lets me fuss with her even when she doesn't like it. She is so responsive and loving that I cannot imagine her being separated from my life. Pretty crazy eh!

The things that make animals happy is when their human friends treat them like they were a friend or part of a family member. Animals even though can't speak just like humans do they still have emotions just like us maybe not that elaborate but still they know when a person take care of them and consider them a valuable companion.
Our pets give us little joys in life and when you try to gather it all it will cushioned you in the saddest moments of your life. The are the kinds of friend that will never leave you behind and would never criticize you for all your mistakes.

I totally agree. It hurts my heart all the time when animals are injured, abused, or pass away. It is very difficult for me to deal with. I think I am more sensitive to their pain than I am to human beings. I probably feel that way because I know they are defenseless.

We do have these qualities. We can give unconditional love. The problem about us is we tend to hold on to hatred and grudge a little longer than animals.

I agree with you completely. I know some abused animals find it hard to trust again just like humans, but for the most part they are much more forgiving.
