As we all know, the world cup has begun in South Africa.I am sure that many, many football fans have been keeping their eyes on the Tv screen and even stay up late into the night. How great it is!! What great spirit it is! Personally, I also like and love watching the world cup. Who will be a final winner or championship is not important,I think. The spirits to strive for life ,for their goals and for their own ideal are the most important for the football players wherever they are from! I strongly appreciate this point. Of course, the championship is the highest honor for the team. But the team work spirit is also significant for each player. What do you think about it? Please share your views with us. Tks!

Oh yeah, I absolutely agree with you. To know where do you come from, why do you do it, to experience such a pleasure that you play for your country, to know the folks are waiting for you is so.. And every fan will become crazy if his team wins. Actually, my national team didn't class for the World cup, but the passion will not disappear, I intend to watch the most matches. Today It begins.. TODAY! What about your national team, will they play, or they didn't class? And what do you think about the first match? South Africa - Mexico. I bet on South Africa.

I couldn't care less. Perhaps it's because i'm one of the majority of Americans who don't, or because i hate soccer.
But, no... I'm not crazy about it. I have heard news about it though. People really going crazy over this thing hm. South Africa has a lot of fans. I have never heard of Mexico winning a cup. Honestly i think brazil will win this unless they are already outta the soccer finals err something. Brazil gets the most soccer beef don't they??? They gotta cuz there are so many brazilian soccer jokes...
Well, good luck to you and whatever team you bet on.

i don't have much interest towards the World Cup to be honest but a friend of mine is telling me about from time to time. he tells me who will mostly win and well.. i get a little interest as to who will really win. somehow, i still have the sporty side of me. we're currently into Lakers vs. Celtics thingy so World Cup will be the next. Hoping I could watch..

I'm not really interested in football myself but when it comes the World Cup I guess I like to tune in occasionally to see how England get on! Their first game is tomorrow against the US and I'm thinking that it will be an interesting game! This is the only type of football I love and I don't support a team otherwise.
There's so much hype leading up to the World Cup and I guess it gets everyone going. I think I will tune in for as long as England remain in the game however if they are knocked out then I will tune into something else! Andrew

Yes I am crazy . I am not only crazy about watching the WC . I am also crazy about watching any top level football . I usually watch only football matches and shows in TV . You can say that soccer is my real love . I am going to try to watch as much world cup matches as possible this time . Last time , I was a kid and I could not watch every match . But this time , I am sure that I can see all the matches , atleast of the top teams . In this Wc , I am supportin for France . Not that much involved but you can say I am rather a neutral in this world . Rightly said that playing the game with spirit is more important than winning . !
