Why I have no interest to read books from graduation?

Now I am working as an employee in a company.My task is translating some English informations into Chinese,but recently I am a little free and even have no special task to do.I know clearly that my ability need to be improved to a higher level and the only way of this is reading books and do relative English work in reality.However,I have no desire to take up any books,let alone reading and studying.why?How can I improve my English level?

maybe you can change your mindset about reading and studying..
why you dont try to think that reading is more than studying, but it also open our mind.
in the way in improving your english, the most important thing is you must give your heart in improve your english..and also keep stay on motivate..

Yes,motive power is important for studying.There are various motive power which may comes from parents,children or friends or maybe myself.I always dream that I can achieve my ambition by improving my major and I also hope that I can buy my parents and nephew many gift by my own ability.All will be realized only through my own effort which is the biggest motivation of charging myself.Thank you!

I have no problem in reading books - novels, but I have a big problem in reading professional books -- a terrible condition.
It's boring to study only for studying, and it's more efficient to study in work. When you need something to complish your current work, you'll have a great desire for learning it. That's my feeling.

Haha ,I know why you hate reading professional books because your major--Data Structure is a boring subject.Generally,for science students,reading novels is a good way of entertainment,and you of course like doing that.
Studying in work can understand knowledge easily and clearly.The luckiest thing you come across after graduation is being employed by a company that can supply you with a suitable job.Good luck.

well i really have no problems with reading books. Well one of the reason is the willingness to learn. Even if you read that book for 100 times if you don't want to learn it then its no use.

It is not only books that may improve your English.This site works great for this.It is not for sure that everything you read here is written in the right way but it is much more fun to read about things you like and want to learn something new in stead of reading books which are let's say obligatory as you won't be much intrigued by them.

I believe the function of mylot although not all English here is written in right way.I can learn some authentic English or new words from many mylot friends.Just like the "intrigue" in your response,I don't know this word in the past,but now I have understood its meaning.
