Do you listen to music all the time or go through phases? I go through phases. I will listen to music every day, then not for weeks.
At the moment, I am listening to The Fame Monster by Lady Gaga and I love her music. Her album is really good too, I like every track, especially her singles and they always make me feel like dancing! What CD are you listening to at the moment?
I buy a few mp3 tracks but I don't own an mp3 player or an iPod or anything. I only listen to music (mp3s and CDs) on my computer or DVD player.
The most recent CDs I bought have been the latest albums by Boyzone, Robbie Williams, JLS and Lady Gaga. The album I want to get next is the one by Pixie Lott. What are the most recent CDs you have bought? Which CD do you want next?

Hey karen! I love music! But, I do go through phases too! Some
days I will listen non-stop, others not as much! I like some
of Gaga's stuff, but not all of it. I love Black Eyed Peas,
Beyonce, Rhianna, and alot of other different kinds of stuff!
I can listen to Rap, R & B, and then go back to my old Rock
stuff from way back like Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd, Doors and
then back to the present again to 50 Cent, JayZ, R Kelly! And
the list goes on! Me and my bf take turns in playing music!
He always has to have music on especially when he's cleaning
or doing stuff around the house. I always tell him to "crank
it up" so I can hear it in my kitchen/office while I'm mylotting!

I think I do go through phases with music.I mainly listen to music when we are driving , rather than at home.I love Pink, I like her as a person and her music is great. I also love Elton John , Robbie Williams and a few Aussie singers like Shannon Noll, John Farnham and Jimmy Barnes.I am not sure what I will buy next.

Yes, I like some of Pink's music too. I haven't heard of Shannon Noll or Jimmy Barnes, but John Farnham had a big hit here in the UK some years ago with You're The Voice.

I love listening music especially love songs because it reminds me on how to be in love with my husband that much. Listening to love songs makes me feel so emotional especially that I misses my husband so much. sometimes it makes me cry because I remember all the happy times that i had with my husband. It might be you by Stephen Bishop is always be the best song for us.

I listen most in the car ride to work. And I too seem to go through phases, it's like on the way to work i want to listen to linkin park, then on the way home, I want complete silence, or I just want to listen to my car (if that makes since)
Yesterday I was listening to akon, and tpain all day (totally out of my genre) But that's all I wanted to listen too, The thong song even came on. i wasn't having it.
CD's, LOL, don't know if I have any of those any more (j/K) I've been listening to my IPOD in my car almost since I got the IPOD. It's like Regular radio just isn't doing it. I must not have the patience for the commercials, unless it is a morning show.

Yes, I agree, there are a lot of similarities between Madonna and Lady Gaga. Back in the 1980s, I was a big Madonna fan too. I dyed my hair blonde like hers and went to see her in concert in 1987.

hi karen don't be shocked but I am a classical music lover and am right
now listening to some of Mozart's transitions of other less well known artists of his time, and making them so gorgeous and of course to his own pieces too. I also love the Beatles and U2 and some more modern composers but mainly I like Mozart.K.488 this is now Mozarts own compositions.

I am not so keen on Mozart but I do enjoy classical music, mainly Soviet composers. My favourites are Tchaikovsky, Mussorgsky and Khachaturian.

On certain days music completly puts me off and gives such an annoying and irritating feel that any bit of sound of music I blew my top of on anyone listening to it. I take music as a relaxant for mind nerves and senses like a good drink after a tough day but not everyday. I don't spend money on cds or dvds I do that for movies instead I rely on the internet radio for music as my listening range is very vast. Lady gaga is a non singer. She is for kids. Coldplay, Red hot chilli peppers, motion picture sountracks, trance, lounge, western classical symphonies, and lot of contemporary christian music are my cup of tea and healers of my nerves.

I really don't buy CDs anymore, I have an Ipod, and I just download the music that I like and put it there, so I have a lot of different genres of songs in my Ipod, which I just love. I would choose the songs that I want to listen to depending on my mood, in the morning I would usually listen to upbeat songs, like Lady Gaga's, it's a great way to start the morning, and it just makes you feel more active and not sleepy.

Hiya karen,
I almost put something else there instead of Lady Gaga. I think she is nice to listen to but I have others that I like too. I like the track where she is sings roma roma ma ma something like that. There is another singer I like the song basically but I would personally rub of some of what he sings at the beginning of it anyway other than that I like the Song.
Like to listen to music with Guitar in very much it can be anything really any kind of song with a Guitar in the background. Flamenco is my very favourite the genuine flamenco or Flamenco Pop too. Also love to watch the Women here dance to Flamenco and wearing those fabulous Dresses and the Hairstyles.
Anything that is catchy and singable goes down okay too.

I like the telephone by Beyonce and Lady Gaga and might buy whatever CD that song is on. I listen to music all of the time, on my old record albums that I play on my phonograph, my CD's, or on the Internet (on Saturday nights I listen to old Wolfman Jack programs on the Internet station out of Boston and on Friday nights I listen to a soul station out of Detroit.) I love music, it helps build my spirits sometimes.

Mainly at night I listen to music for at least 4-6 hours straight. I must agree Lady Gaga's music just makes you want to free yourself up (its' beats are a little bit too addicting).
I am currently listening to Eurotrance which is an old CD by DJ Eion, but I still love it anyways.
I haven't bought CDs since I've gotten a computer. I actually like listening to any song. In fact, if you have the chance, please recommend me some.

I always listen to music every day. It is usually at breakfast time. The first thing I do when coming into the kitchen is turn on the radio.
I guess I am from a music-loving family and I learned to play piano at a very early age, and now music is part of my life. I could not imagine life without it._Derek

I find music or the radio a bit loud and invasive first thing in the morning. I turn on the TV News first thing, so I can find out what is happening around the world.

Yup I do..Instrumental music is so soothing especially early in the morning or if your done something. Indeed, music brings gladness to our soul and a reliever of our stress like the Christian music. It's so nice to listen especially when we are distress because it provides us hope and aspirations . It links us to our Creator and His grace to for us. It also an expression of your emotion and your attachment to Him. It ease some of life's pain because it's message evokes calmness and tranquility, that is how I valued music.

Ipod is the way to go I can't honestly say cd's are good for anything other than DVD's at the moment lol. I go through phases a lot too. I am currently in love with lady gaga as well but really she never grows old. Also im really digging keisha's blah blah blah song. I've been listening to a lot of alternative rock lately. The top of my list right now is the song 'movies'. Any way thanks for posting!

I like to listen to music. It's the best way for me to relax after a long day. I grew up listening to old school: O'Jays, Maze, Stevie Wonder, Al Green and etc. Even know i still listen to that music. I really don't have a favorite artist, but i like all types of music from R&B and Hip Hop to Jazz and Pop. Recently i purchased Usher's new Cd, and hands down the best tranck is #4 (There goes my baby). Music is a goos way to ease the soul adn besides i dont know anyone who dosent like a good tune to jam to.
