What do you feel Court verdict on Bhopal gas tragedy do justice to the victims??
I think, The verdict is another tragedy for the victims. 26 years after India's worst industrial disaster, which killed 25 thousand disabled .12 million people permanently and affected 5 Lakh, but still the wait for for justice is not over. These criminals were convicted for only 2 years and then bailed within 2 minutes by signing a bond of Rs. 25,000. What a coincidence... In 1984, Anderson was also bailed for Rs. 25,000.
25,000 people were killed and these mass murderers were bailed for just Rs. 25000. That means Re 1 for each life. That's the cost of an Indian life, just 1 rupee. But this is not the fault of only court, actually the whole system has failed completely. Its the fault of Govt of India, CBI and Our Judiciary including Supreme Court I'm sorry but I have to include Supreme Court but the biggest culprit is Govt of India right from Rajiv Gandhi to AB Vajpayee, everyone is a culprit.
What do you think about it.?

The sentences are pathetic considering the huge loss of life, and Warren Anderson should be doing 20 years. He knew all about the safety hazards but chose to ignore them in Bhopal while making sure Union Carbide's plant in the US had everything fixed. That alone should have got him 10 years. But this is corporate America we're talking about here and they've been walking hand in hand with the Indian government for a long time. He was never going to be arrested and he's never going to be extradited either - the US government will make sure of that.
Yet one more example of how the US govt doesn't give a damn about human life, especially when it's in a faraway country they like to exploit, but don't like to pay for their crimes. Yet now they're screaming about BP. Bunch of hypocrites

I agree, its definitely not fair and yeah , people to blame are every1 you described above as they have their own roles. But no matter what the compensation, the loss cannot be replaced, lives cant be bought back nor the disabled ones back to normalcy.

NO. and even after this, who cares? .. don't you understand the ways and methods of politicians? .. and industrialists? ... it is not worth discussing too. it is so low and mean.
i am sad. utterly ! ... and, you will be surprised to learn the cost of this COURT CASE. if only the government and the authorities spent such huge volume of money in preventing such tragedies...
alas.
