I´m afraid we all have our dark side. I´m so old that I have lots of stories about terrible things I did. Fortunatly old age also implies that your memory gets worse..
I used to peek on Christmas presents when I was a child. It was quite difficult and I thought I did it with utmost care. I always asked for books as I was a bookworm since I learned to read. I gave a list of favorites to my parents but did not expect them to buy the whole lot. And then, a few days before Christmas, way up high on a big wooden wardrobe in my parent´s room, I could see some packages. I chequed that noone was around, got a chair, climbed and schatched in a tiny place with my nails. I didn´t get to see much, bt I did not dare make the hole bigger. But my mother always knew. And she always talked to the air about the faith she has on her children. And I felt rotten.
And now that I tell this story, I think the terrible thing was made by my mom. I´ll call the old lady (now 86) and tell her she was a witch.

Yes, of course, and I am ashamed of it. What I did was to hurt my sister so that I can get what I want. I told her friends that she did something bad, just to ruin her reputation. It happened a couple of years ago and I know what I did was wrong and until now I really regret that I did such thing to my sister. However, she forgave me and we both moved on with our lives, but I am still guilty.

I immediately regret anything terrible I do and especially when it's on purpose. I try my best to be good to my fellow humans. The most terrible thing I did was as a kid I always tormented one cat I hated by spraying him with water constantly throughout the day. I guess I was just bored. Until this day I regret ever doing that.

Hey takie23,
Actually i did do something but i did not do it intentionally. I usually resort to doing bad when there is no other option. However, when i do something i do it so the best possible outcome comes out. For example i 'stole' something from a friend so he wouldn't end up using it and get into trouble, which would have an effect on his carrier. Anyways, what i am saying is that sometimes two wrongs do make a right.

Hi borg246,
I think I understand what you mean. The truth of the matter is, I guess, that if the intention is good (like in your case, you want to stop your friend from getting into trouble) then what you've done is not completely bad. :)
What is terrible, though, from my experience, was when a person do certain things just to bring other people down out of hatred or envious or whatever. That, I say, is 'terrible'
Thanks a lot for replying my topic.;)
