What's the worst punishment you ever had as a child?

The Worst punishment which i always remember is when I was in 10th class and I got 0 marks in Test taken by Tutor who is coming to my House. He told in front of everyone that i scored 0 in the test. Nobody reacted that time. but after he went he sit on the table and going to start dinner. But as soon as plate with food came, my father pick it up and told if he will be hungry then only he will realize about his mistakes.otherwise he will not take this as seriously. And due to that punishment i scored 20 out of 20 in the next test.

i was part of the marching band in grade school.. our trainer is so strict and he easily gets mad when we are late or we dont do well on practice.. i was still 7 years old then, but i wasnt excepted for a hundred squat jumps... no body is exempted by the way..that's the usual punishment.. sometimes, he would hit us with the majorette's baton.. and sometimes, the boys will have to do the snake crawl... that was awful... my dad hated that trainer, for i was never punished that way at home.. the worst punishment i had at home is to kneel down with salts in my knees... but it happened only one time though...

Haha. My dad used to beat me with the buckle of his belt. I already experience kneeling down on rock salt with books on each of my hands. LOL. I was just laughing about it when I remember it. Oh, I also remember that my teacher hit me with a ruler in my palm. It wasn't that bad at all, I think.

I don't remember being punished a lot in my childhood. Physical punishment is restricted in our schools, so teachers don't have a right to hit the student or leave him out in the sun, like in your case. Perhaps the worst punishment I ever encountered was at home, when I was beaten by my father. It wasn't a heavy beating though, I only got few light hits. I guess it's a part of educating the children.

My parents weren't over strict, in fact my father never hit me once!! My mum used to hit me with her slipper and send me to bed!!

I feel glad sharing this punishment which I experienced 50 years back. Yes - we had a drill session where we were all doing the drill. A boy in front of me has done the wrong pose and the drill master watched from a long distance and assumed that it was me - he came directly towards me and i was shivering that he would thrash me and the same thing happened,he thrashed me on my thighs with a cane where deep red marks appeared and o going to my house my mom scolded me telling that I have done something wrong and got beaten. Wonderful - I still remember this.

I remember going out with my friends without the knowledge of my mother. When she found out, she was of course very angry, and as a punishment I was not given my weekly allowance in school and its kinda OUCHHHHH. I was crying then, until my classmates and friends help me.

When I was in 11th class on that time our whole class got punished as, we all boycott our one teacher class, because he used to scold as well as hit the students too much. SO we all get punished for full 1 period ie for 45 minutes for picking up the stones from full ground.....That was totally sunny day and my horrible experience too.

My worst punishment? Maybe standing in the classroom for a whole morning. As a tractable "good" student in school, I was little punished. Such punishment like kneel down even for only one minute is prohibited in China. All the teachers who want to keep their job dare not to give.

when talking about punishment i cant help but think of my auntie in my father's side.. she was the youngest of them and she lives with us cos she stay with us to finish her college degree here in manila.. and my parents are busy working in our little groceries store so being the eldest i am the one doing some household chores specially cooking the dinner for my auntie is the one cooking lunch .. one time i have to cook the dinner but cos of my schoolmate who take my time doing some of our assignments i need to rush cooking the meal so i cooked the fish where i got in the ref and cook sinigang.. and when my auntie eat the fish she is so mad at me cos i did not remove the fins and scales of it so she ask me to eat the fishes all by my self.. i am crying while eating but i need to finish all the fishes so that i will not be beaten up when my parents know this they got mad with my untie and she decided to back home in the province.. but now we are just laugphing over it and i am so close with my auntie now..
