Just the other day i was talking to a old friend and i was told that i was a loner cause i go everywhere by myself. I really didnt think of it as being a loner, but just wanting to be by myslef most of the time. There is nothing wrong with having someone to tag alone with, but sometimes you jusy want "me" time. I was even called a loner cause i'm an only child and growing up i learned how to enjoy myself without the company of others. So, is a person who like to be alone (sometimes) a loner or just likes being by themself?

I'm a lot like you by the sound of it.
I'm an only child, and I like "me" time a lot. I have friends and I spend time with them, but I tend to travel alone and I'm just as happy sitting on my own as in a crowd. In fact, I often need that 'me' time just to get over my annoyances and push down whatever's bugged me through the day. I work in an environment where I work alone but in a crowd, so I like to be alone in the evenings.
I also find that if I do too much socialising in a short period, I break down and want to curl up in a corner and hide til the world goes away.
You're not a loner so much as someone who prefers to keep their own company. If you were a loner, you wouldn't want anyone to tag along with you at all.
