OK so I am nine months pregnant and I have had a few cravings though not as many as many would think. My hubby on the other hand has had a ton! Crackers with peanut butter and chocolate syrup..lol, I have been craving pretzels mostly. SO I was wondering what everyone else craves and why.

Anything grainy, can't explain why...just for the texture. Oh and chocolate spread on French bread, it was the only thing I could eat without beng sick for the first couple of months.
One thing I could not eat was Bacon... and i loved bacon pre-pregnancy. Even the mention of it woud make me ill. The word 'bacon' was banned from our house and it was referred to as 'the B word' lol.

I crave chocolate. Always. I think it was handed down to me by my mother who loved it as well. I used to craved mustard and peanutbutter sandwichs when i was a youngster. I always love the pickles and icecream craving women are supposed to have. My daughter is the only one I know that ever really craved this.

No one ever wanted any when I offered it to them. Hmm.

hi opinionatedlady oh my that was a long while but I do remember I craved pink grapefruit and cottage cheese and Rocky Road Ice cream with chocolate and nuts and marshmallow in it. That first two months nothing I ate in the morning stayed down but saltines and tea, at night my cravings stayed down but the next morning oh my I did manage to work up til mid eight month then one of the doctors told me, you will lose your baby trying to bathe that monster sister of mine, the woman weighed four hundred pounds and I had to stand on stool to wash her back, roll her form side to s ide to make fresh bed, and almost nine months pg. the doctor got hold of my hubbie and my hubbie made me to to the head nurse and say I w anted a leave of absence. sadly I never did go back there. the head nurse was not happy i had married the orderly she had planned on hooking and she made it impossible for me to stay there, giving me assignments that should have gone to an single nurses aide instead.

Lucky I haven't been craving sweet things as I have gestational diabetes but I know how you feel about work. I went on bed rest with my first when I was in my 5 th month and never went back to work since. I miss it too a point but I know it is better for my kids to have me here with them for now.

I often crave chocolate. Sometimes just plain pure chocolate and at other times chocolate with nuts and caramel. I wish I did not crave chocolate it would be a lot easier to lose weight if I didn't. When I was pregnant with my daughter i craved canned pasta you know like Spaghetti O's, raviolli, pretty much everything Chef Bourardi makes. This lasted for about a month and I ate one or the other of those for lunch nearly every day. Then as the baby started to grow it started to give heartburn when I ate those.
