ARe any of you willing to be out in a line late at night or early in the morning for Playstation 3? Are you willing to pay $600 for a video game system. Not me. I think it outrageous unless you have money to spend.

I have two friends in line @ Best Buy right now. They have not slept since the night before last for fear of people cutting in front of them. The police had to control a potential riot this morning and are still there on patrol. I heard stories of people being held at gunpoint over their Xbox 360s last year.
Sure I want a PS3. But do I need one RIGHT NOW? No. I can wait. The sad thing is that there are rumored to be 24 units available at this store yet there are 100 people in line, wrapped around the building. Some will wait for two days only to go home empty handed.

Yes, I went to WalMart last night, and seen people lining up to buy this. What type of person wants to buy a Video game system that is as much as a Computer? For what???
But you know a lot of people will be putting these on Ebay. But still... This is unreal.

Yes, it is unreal and you will not find me out there. Many of those people will be in line and not even get a system because there is not enough. I would rather have a computer for that amount than a game system. You are right that people will put those up on Ebay and try and make a killing off of it.

I would not want to waste my time waiting line like that, especially if it ends up getting me sick. My kids would like to have the PS3, but we got them both the Xbox 360 last year (pre-ordered so we didn't have to wait in line)so that will have to do.

There are very few things in life I'd wait in line all night for. I can't even think of one off hand since I've yet to do that. The longest I did was a few hours for Billy Joel tickets. I would not do it for a game system. Especially for one that is that expensive and will probably be considered out of date in a year or two? Nope I can wait.
