Do you choose who you love or do you just fall in it?

You can never choose someone to love..because even if you tried to stay away from what you felt its still the same fact that you're inlove...and if you're already inlove with someone you cant tell yourself to stop loving him/her.If you will try to do it you'll only end up hurting yourself...we fall for someone when we least expect it...

This is a really good question. I am not sure if I have truly been in love now that I think about this. When I was in high school I didn't have many boyfriends or go out with boys a lot. Honestly, sometimes I felt like I was missing out on that feeling of being loved by someone else. When I did meet my "first love" everything moved quickly and now that I look back I don't know if I was IN love or just felt loved. I liked the fact that someone appreciated being with me mentally and physically and I didn't feel alone. I have a new guy friend that I have been friends with almost 2 years and I do feel like I love him but I am not IN love. He pushes me to do positive things, teaches me, and has good intentions. So to answer the question I do think that you can make yourself fall in love because you might feel like you are missing something and when it does come along you jump on it

for me, we can't choose whom we will fall in love but we have a choice to stay in love with them or not. most of the time we set qualifications of whom we would like to be in love but in the end, we realized that we fell in love with someone with different qualities.
