The roomie called me in to look at one of our small cats doing something, and then we were talking. When, behind me I heard ***scrabble scrabble*** I turn in time to see a black and white body hit the recycling bin under one of the small fridges. (I have 2 small fridges for drinks while 2 large fridges for every thing else) The recycling bin falls over and Oliver runs over and stops beside me. And I'M just laughing so hard. The room (remember, she can't see that far) is grinning at me while I'm trying to control myself enough to tell her what happened - then I start CHOKING I'm laughing so hard. "What did he do, knock over the recycling bin?" she asked finally when I got myself more under control. "He fell OFF the FRIDGE and knocked it over!" I laugh. And then she starts laughing. He's such a KLUTZ! Is your cat as clumsy as mine?

He is a handsome klutz! We love him a lot, he's the kitten in my avatar - obviously he's not a kitten anymore!

My one cat knocks stuff off of the counter. One time, another cat knocked off its drinking bowl. Sometimes I think they are evil and do it on purpose @:|

I have a couple who paw their water dishes. One has shoved an empty dish into the middle of the floor. I also have the dish on the counter to the floor. Yes it made a BIG mess!

And then the one finds it fun to pick up her ball in her mouth, drop it into the water dish, then bat it out of the dish, and to get everything wet that way as well. Hehe.

Hi ElicBxn I was just thinking a long time back of a gorgeous pure black male cat we called Midnight. He had decided I guess that he did not like the draperies in our living room, and I had to admit he did have good taste. They were left behind when we bought the house. Now Midnight would not climb up on any other draperies, thank Goodness for that. But one night as I was just gettingready for bed I heard this loud yowling and meowingcoming from the living room. Here hung MIdnight, stuck all four claws dug into the ugly fabric of those heavy dismal draperies. He even stayed still so I could unhook him and set him down on the floor. I said loudly bad cat, naughty cat. He looked up at me and I would have sworn he sort of sneered,as if to say look mom those are really ugly. But it did scare him so he never climbed up on any draperies again. We did laugh at him as looked so silly swinging there a big black male cat who was usually all macho, but he was whimpering like a kitten.,I just hated it that when we sold the house and moved into an apartment we had to find a good home for Midnight.

Hey Elic! Awwwww! The poor little guy! I guess he's ok or you wouldn't have been laughing. My cat's are always getting into things and knocking stuff down, but they aren't so little! And usually they are doing something that they know they shouldn't be doing in the first place! My cat Star likes to walk across the kitchen cabinets and once in awhile he get's himself sort of stuck and doesn't remember how to get down and starts yelling to me like I should come and get him! And when I don't he slides down and usually does some crazy slipping and sliding move that ends up with him in the sink or something just as stupid! So, yup I have a klutz too!lol

oh, he's not fat, he's a solid guy now Booboo, he's like 18 lbs and not any spare flesh on him The Doctor was a 14 and a half pounds at his "fighting" weight! Oliver isn't one of the biggest cats, but that's AVERAGE for us! and in "normal" cats, 10 lbs is considered AVERAGE!

Oliver is a big cat! He is an easy 12 lbs, maybe more! But "Grace" is NOT his middle name!

OMG! You think 12 lbs is a big cat! My Cougar and Jaguar were 24 pounders! Star and Luna are 13 and my Vet said they are perfect! I know my first two males were obese, but I didn't know how to feed them properly, hence their illnesses. But, they did lose alot of weight when put of diets. But, you must have some really little cats! My first cat Mystique was 8 pounds and she always looked like a kitten to me!

That would have been funny to see! Our cat Hewy is a handful as I’ve mentioned a few times and when he gets really excited and hyperactive he too can be prone to accidents. My husband built a wooden window ledge on one of our windows so the cats can sit on it and look outside which is something they love to do. The other day Hewy was racing from one end of the house to the other and headed straight for the ledge, missed and fell off! I could see that he didn’t hurt himself as I was crying with laughter; it was one of those incidents where you just had to be there!

That's like Oliver falling off the eyebrow window's sill. I had it made wide so the cats could enjoy it up there, and the klutz falls off !

Haha how funny. Oh yes my cat is a klutz too! I always heard how graceful cats are. But mine is not. She falls off of things a lot and misjudges her jumps so that she misses! She often misses when trying to jump from the kitchen table to the counter and slip right off the counter. Silly kitty.

I know what you mean. I've got some graceful cats, but a few of them can ruin the whole species' reputation!

I have two cats now, the one just sleeps, moves rooms and sleeps again. The other one is full of energy, races from room to room, sleeps in the window sills. We use to have a cat that was the 'extrodinary'. He liked high places and I have pictures of him sleeping on the top of our refrigerator, a full size, side by side. Never knew how he got up that high! When my husband would shave he would always have to drink from the faucet. This was a must! He heard the water running and he would come running jump on the counter and drink his fill. (guess he liked 'fresh' water) One of his 'favorites' was the light switches! He would sit back 'eye' the switch then 'attack', if he 'flipped' the switch, he would just prance away proud of him self. If he 'missed' he would do it over till he got it flipped! I don't know how many times I would be at the kitchen sink doing dishes and he would turn the light off on me! We would get up mornings and the lights would be on! Took us the longest time to figure out who was leaving the lights on! Our refrigerator had ice and water on the door and my mother said he would jump at the levers until he got the ice. I never seen him do it but I know I cleaned up a lot of "spills" from the kids at the refrigerator door!!!!

Jason missed the table the other day. And then there was the time that Oreo fell out of the window. I think he was totally asleep, because he looked awfully stunned. Tiger must be arthritic, he can't always make it up onto the bed, poor guy. Yep, the all have their klutzy moments. I remember back in the 80's when our cats were indoor outdoor and I would come home from work and Jinx was usually up on the roof. And he would come to the edge of the roof and greet me. One day he did that, rolled over to rub his head on the the roof and fell right off into the grass. Priceless!

I would've been laughing just as hard if I had seen that. Yes, I had a cat just as clumsy. Awhile ago, I lived in a single, brick house. It had nice ledges outside the windows. My cat, Tigger, loved to lie on the sill outside one of the living room windows, which was about four feet off the ground. One time, I looked over at the window just in time to see Tigger stretch, yawn, and begin to roll over. I know you can see what's coming, right? Yep, he rolled right off that ledge. I ran over to the window and looked down. There he was, sitting as pretty as you please, licking a paw like nothing had just happened. He looked up at me with a "What is YOUR problem?" look on his face. Isn't it funny how cats can look so innocent when they do something stupid?

speaking of rolling off things, about 90 minutes ago, Prissy rolled right off the desk next to me! She stood there, kind of looking around dazedly!

The worst thing that I can remember Sleepy doing is knocking over a glass of water I had left on the coffee table while he was in a rush to get out of a high window he was not supposed to be in.

One morning I could hear one of my cats crying in the cellar, but it wasn't a real distressed cry. Another one of my cats kept comming up the stairs and kind of telling me to follow him. When I went down the cellar there was Kitty hanging upside down from the rafters. I don't know how she got up there, but she got her feet caught somehow. I had to yell for my ex to come help me get her down. I was laughing so hard I couldn't do it alone.

My cats aren't that bad. While I'll admit they do have their moments, they aren't that clumsy. They will give a person a run for their money if the weather is right. Nice and cool weather often sets them off. Humid warm, or nearly freezing weather, has them looking for the coolest (or warmest) hiding spot to hide from the "cold" or "heat" (depending of course on the weather.) However they have "redecerated" during the night when they've had the urge to run around like wild animals.

Oliver seems to think he's a mountain lion sometimes and then the goof falls off things! This isn't the first time he's fallen off something and I doubt it'll be the last!

Cat's will never take blame, or admit to anything no matter what... I'm sure most of you have seen a cat rush by the living room, crash into a glass door, get knocked down.. and gets up, like nothing happened and walks under your couch... i know deep down hes actually saying: F****** MEOW!!!! probably even has a little wheelchair under the couch, maybe kitty crutches...

I don't have those glass doors, but I've seen videos of them doing that. I made a fake window in a windowless room and my SMART cat jumped for it a couple of times!
