Have you ever experienced a EVP?

when I was in my teens I worked with a psychic development circle. one of the members of our group did a lot of tarot readings, and would always make a recording of the reading on tape for the sitter to take away with them. on one of these readings, she'd just picked up on the new relationship the male sitter had just got into, and he confirmed that this was the case, he'd just met this woman.. and at that point another voice cut in on the tape, and clearly and harshly says "get rid of her!" it was a really clear and quite exciting EVP for our group.

I personally never have but I know a few people that have, they work in the ghost hunting business, so that is what they do to find out if there are ghosts really in the houses.

Yes as a matter of fact I have had some experience with that. But the most interesting one was an EVP of my father who has passed on. I was talking to my friend one day who also works as a medium. We were talking about my father and he was recording the whole thing because he just bought a new voice recorder which he wanted to try out. So we were just talking and I said that I am always scared of forgetting my dads voice, we did not hear anything at the time. A few weeks later I was listening to the recording, just to think about what we had talked about. And at the same second that I said about forgetting my dad's voice, I hear a loud voice say my name. And it was not any voice, it was definitely my father's voice.

When I was sixteen, my friends and I decided to go to an abandoned church and make it our secret meeting place. We went there frequently and hang out. There was one time, Paul, one of my closest friends, left his recorder, which he uses in speech class, on one of the seats near the aisle. We went back to get it the next day, as we weren't worried someone would steal it because nobody really goes there very much. He kept looking at the recorder saying something sure doesn't feel right with it. Then he found out that the tape was wound halfway, as if it was already used when he left it the tape was blank. We rewound the tape and played it, and boy, were we scared. The tape played out a recording like it was taken from a church mass. We could hear church music, the bells, some feet scuffling, voices but they were too indistinct. It played for a whole half hour! I don't know where the tape is right now, as it has been 8 years since then. But up to this day, Paul still thinks that one of us probably tampered with the tape as a prank.

For awhile I was apart of a ghost investigation team. One of the first cases we took one, the lady thought her house to be haunted by one of her deceased dogs. At first I was a complete skeptic about animals staying behind and lingering from withing. But We had left our EVP recorder in a room by its self throughout our investigation, while we were in the basement conducting EMF readings and what not. Later the next day when we went through our evidence we actually caught two EVP's ...one that sounds like a dog sniffing the microphone on the recorder. Which was errie because the lady had no animals in the home at the time. And then the second one, we actually caught a little girls voice responding to a question I had asked. The answer was clear , as if she was standing next to us, and it actually answered the question by saying "yes" . Of course I wasn't scared. It made all of our hard work all worth while. And I hope to one day catch something on a video camera, which we have yet to do yet.
