Not owning a cellphone in this day and age would make you're life much harder. Think of how fast our world is moving... when someone has a question, they want it answered now. When someone needs to get some place, they need to know how to get there now. If you have an emergency and need someones help, you need it now. Could you imagine what it would be like if every time you needed to talk to someone, you had to write a letter, send it, and wait for a response? I know thats how it worked in the past, but people today simply dont have the time to wait around. Cell phones allow us to do everything faster and more efficiently... they allow us to keep contact with the people and places around us. If your phone is ringing a lot and you need a break from it... turn it off for a few hours. I'm sure you will enjoy the quiet and the thought of knowing its still there if you want or need it.

No, cellphone is so essential for me as my daily life always involving the usage of cellphone. If not, I am not going to left home and calling from telephone.

earlier society survive without it, surely we will but we will have a lot of difficulty if we will go back to an era where snail/traditional mail is the only means of communication affordable to the public. life will be more simpler it is, but communication will be sacrificed, gone are the days when we kill ourself to worrying how are relatives doing in other parts of the world, even a year without communication. simple text would ease that burden, online business, especially online shopping and dealing will not be possible without the updates of text messages. the success of cellphone is rooted entirely on the values that we humans put on communication, i can't imagine moving backwards to the best era of communication we have so far.

I couldn't live without it now a days. Cellphone is much useful in so many different ways. Life is much simpler if we all have a cellphone.
