recent studies have suggested that cocoa or dark chocolate may possess certain beneficial effects on human health.the major concern that nutritionist have is that even though eating dark chocolate may not effect serum cholesterol, blood pressure or ldl oxidation...Chocolate has one of the higher concentrations of lead among products that constitute a typical Westerner's diet.

Chocolate is made from plants, wich means it contains many of the health benefits of dark vegetables. These benefits are from flavonoids , wich act as antioxidants. Antioxidants protect the body from aging caused by free radicals, wich can cause damage that leads to heart disease. Dark chocolate contains a large number of antioxidants ( nearly 8 times the number found in strawberries ). Flavonoids also help relax blood pressure through the production of nitric oxide, and balance certain hormones in the body.
also the dark chocolate has far more antioxidants than milk or white chocolate, These other tow chocolates cannot make any health claims. Dark chocolate has 65 percent of higher cocoa content.
I Hope I Helped You :))

People on diet are very conscious with their body and the food they eat. The good news is here. Health and body conscious people can eat dark chocolates. They have so many health benefits. They can lower the blood pressure and lower cholesterol. Furthermore, it has a great taste. It also gives a feeling of pleasure because it stimulates endorphin production. It also acts as an anti-depressant for it contains serotonin and many more. Dark chocolates also contain three fats. First, 1/3 oleic acid, healthy monounsaturated fat that can also be found in olive oil. Second is 1/3 stearic acid, a saturated fat but one which research is shows has a neutral effect on cholesterol. Lastly, 1/3 palmitic acid, a saturated fat, one which raises cholesterol and heart disease risk. So over all, 1/3 of fat in dark chocolates is bad for us. How imperturbable it is especially for me whose not allowed eating sweets because of diet. Now, I have some reasons to eat one, most especially CHOCOLATES!
However, these benefits don’t mean that we can eat a pound of chocolate a day because it is still a high-fat, high-calorie food. Everything that is excessive and exiguous is bad. Another thing is, professional chocolate tasters have developed a system ofchocolate tasting that involves the assessment of appearance, smell, feel and taste of each piece to truly enjoy and appreciate eating one.
We should all go for dark chocolate because it has more antioxidants than any other chocolates. In addition, we should go for pure dark chocolate or the ones with nuts or any other flavorings and don’t for the ones with caramel or fillings because it will add sugar and fat which will erase many of the benefits of the chocolate. For the same reason, it is better not to wash a chocolate down with a glass of milk because it could prevent the antioxidants to be absorbed by the body. How I love chocolates! Now I know that I should eat dark chocolate instead of the ones I’m used to. Try eating one now and observe. Remember, everything that is excessive and exiguous is bad. Enjoy eating and follow the system of eating chocolates to have enough pleasure and joy.
