Shoib Akthar returns PAK team for Asia cup, will he be effective?

The 35 year old pakisthan fast bowler shoib Akthar is back in the team for the Asia cup.
the two shoib pairs S.Malik and S.Akthar have been recalled in the pak team for asia cup.
Afridi the captain of curent pak team wanted a young team for the asia cup, even though he wanted a young team, he himself asked the board to pick the 35 year old pak pacer S.Akthar to give a chance.
Akthar has been performing well in the domestic cricket, but the main problem was with his fitness.
the board pick him because he bowled 12 overs in a streak in a domestic match.
and former captain shoib malik's ban has been lifted and he was also called back.
so pak alltogether looking a strong team?
do you think that Akthar will be effective as he was in the past?

That is a great news for Pakistan cricket that Bohot Shoaib are back. one of them is very good at batting and bowling where as one is good at pace bowling and slogging in the late overs.
with both of them it will be great to watch ASIA cup. i am really waiting for the Asia cup. what do you say??
it will bring thrill to the contest?

Ya surely,the RAVALPINDI EXPRESS will thrill the game .Lets watch how akthar will bowl in his age of 35.

i have seen his run up and bowling he is looking very fit again. i saw the whole tournament in our country. but he lost some pace

Ya akthar is always known for his speed,we want him to be in that same speed as he delivered in the past.
then only the matches will become interesting to watch.

It would be interesting to see how he performs. He has been away from the international circuit for too long and the game has changed quite a bit since he last played with the advent of the T20 game. So it would definitely be interesting to see what happens if he plays for Pakistan in the Asia Cup.

ya it will be tough for him to compete in this age, but he is a striking fast bowker, a real wicket taker who can make the win for the team.

Akthar is one of the dangerous bowler in world cricket. But he's almost 35 now. The question is would he able to deliver in this age? I noticed that slight change in his bowling action last year. Also the pace has decreased a bit. The cricket trend has definitely changed. Last year when he played a ODI series, his bowling was not very impressive. I think it will be a bit hard for Akthar to come back in this current trend and retain the momentum. Well, we will have to wait and see how he performs in Asia cup.

What ever be the trend ,taking wicket is the key thing to be achieved by a bowler,and he has the ability to pick wicket from nowhere.
As he is aged ,I dont think he will reach 150Km/hr .

Its funny because he is too fat and he cant run like previously what he was doing and one more thing is when Veeru is on the striker end then Akthar will be punished like anything. Not only but also the Indian batsmen because they love Akthar's bowling, because its very simple for them to place a ball to the boundary or even for a six!!!!!! just wait and watch my dear friend.

Ya your are right ,sewag will be in a hurry,and he can play akthar simply.
We will miss sachin a great .If he was there he would really love to bat against akthar.

Its his speed which makes the selectors to pick him again & again.
And pak really need a good pace bowler .
