How to fix bees on hummingbird feeder?

I have a small swarm of bees starting to bunch around a humming bird feeder right on the feeder part. HELP!!!!!

What I read was to put something on the feeder that made it slick so the bees could not land to feed like vasciline it won't hurt the birds as they feed in flight and you just smear on enough to make the out side slick .
