I've read a book some time ago that claimed that spaghetti can be a brain food.
It said that this is because of the carbohydrate content which fuels the brain when you study.
Do you think this is true? Do you know of any other supporting evidence for this?
Thanks a lot.

Thanks! So we must only eat a minimum amount? Nice suggestion, maybe I can keep some spaghetti, banana and black chocolate for my snack the next time I study :p

I agree. spaghetti is indeed delicious :) worth eating whether it's a brain food or not
But it's really nice if the info is accurate :) delicious and helps you learn at the same time!

isn't it that carbs are just generally good for the brain because they provide energy and thinking definitely requires that? i don't know however if it aids in the the cognitive process. the brain food i know really is blueberries, with all the antioxidants and sugar, i read that these elements promote better cognition and storage of memory.

you do have a point. carbohydrates are converted into ATP which is definitely a requirement for bodily processes such as thinking.
so you are saying that the chemicals that truly aid in learning are antioxidants and sugar?
