The World Cup starts now. Rafael Marquez came to Mexico's rescue as his 79th-minute goal earned a 1-1 tie with hosts South Africa in the opening game of the 2010 World Cup. With myriad bars, restaurants and beer gardens gearing up to show the footie action, finding the perfect spot to cheer your favorite team isn’t as simple as you think. The convenient way is at home watch it on TV or internet. What's your choice?

It really depends on the match. When its a little boring and not playing your favorite team just watch it at home. But when the game should be a really interesting and intryging thrn you have to watch it on big screen with friends somewhere in bar or outside tents.

I myself find it more convenient to watch it at home. Maybe for some matches I might go out to watch with my friends, but more or less for most matches I would be happy to see it at home. The world cup started with a bang in the first match, but the second match was a real dull affair. But today Argentina vs. Nigeria was great stuff. Cheers! Ram

I still prefer to watch it on TV.Yesterday's match did not reach great heights as far as skill was concerned, but since the sides were well matched it was very enjoyable to watch. If the start to the World Cup is anything to go by, we are in for a treat this time.

Where I live, there is a very nice bar on the beach where they have big screen tvs that show all the games. I go there to see the games, since I like it that the place attracts many tourists, from many of the countries that participate in the World Cup and more. It makes it more fun to watch the games to share the experience with a big group of people, even if you don't really know them.
